It's early on in roundtable 3.0, but the GAMES section and trophies are REALLY heating up!
The scores are climbing....they look high now, but just wait a few days!
Who's been playing?
I had the Breakout trophy for, oh, an hour, before Quintracker pissed on my parade ;)

I absolutely love this new games section!! I actually had the high score in flasteroids for about 20 minutes. 20 glorious minutes. I have nearly the lowest score in every game I've played now...bah, oh well. Is it safe to assume that there'll be new games added every once in a while? I want me some flash Mr. Do, myself.

I agree, we need some directions for some of these.

Having said that, this new feature is fantastic. Now I'll never get anything done! :-P In a few days, I will have no hope of ever getting any high scores. I suck. :(

PS-There needs to be a Solve Puzzle feature on Wheel Of Fortune. Seriously.

This is easily the best idea for a message board since the smilies. The only thing we need now are real joysticks. Keyboards aren't the easiest to use... especially for Pac-Man.

Yeah, the game section is definitely the best part of the new board and a great way to kill even more time here.LOL Not that the other stuff isn't neat and all, but I really don't care about "custom titles" or "Ranks" that much. Sure it's great to be able to tell people apart from their avatars and such, but i'd rather read a meaningful post that would teach me more about my favorite hobbie (maybe even recommand a future purchase), then to see someone add a comment to get a couple virtual fuirts below their name.
But whatever, i'm sure i'll have to put those points to some sort of use. Now if you'll excuse me i'm still trying to beat Sotenga high score in Hybrid Fighter.

PS-There needs to be a Solve Puzzle feature on Wheel Of Fortune. Seriously.

No kidding....I knew some of the puzzles long before the round was over and I had to buy vowels to solve it. Don't know if the fine folks here can fix that. Anyone seen the highest score on Wheel of Fortune? Think it's up to about a million, seriously!

I, too, had a trophy, until some unnamed individual (quintracker) beat my score and sent me a taunting PM (you big bully) :(

I got murdered on Solitaire. I could barely keep my score above zero, so I didn't even bother submitting my score when I won.

Flashteroids is pretty amusing.

But I have the Wheel of Fortune trophy~! :D Beat the previous high score by 300,000, although I'm sure the high score will be doubled by someone else by tomorrow.

There really needs to be a "Solve the puzzle" button on Wheel of Fortune, by the way. Still pretty fun, but it seems to be mostly luck. Lucky in the sense that I didn't land on Bankrupt even once. Of course, I also didn't get too many wrong letter guesses either, so there is some skill, I suppose.

Yeah talk about bringing back that old arcade feeling. I clicked the game I wanted to play and I got "You don't have enough money for this game" or something similar haha.

But I did make the top 10 in Wheel of Fortune. One of the puzzles was "Dont Worry be Happy" by Bob Marley...someone needs to give that game some music lessons or something.

Point me to them, I'll look into it. I'm not 100% sure but the .swf games may have to meet certain criteria to fit into the module, but maybe not. I'd be willing to try any game that's worth fighting for a high score on. :)

Nanaca Crash is VERY addictive. I played it constantly for a week -- my high score was over 17,000m...

I'm seconding the "add a solve the puzzle" button to Wheel of Fortune I had 1 million on the first round alone, and I knew it was Goodbye Sam Hello Samantha and all I needed was the damn "y" and BANKRUPT. I also believe that all the games need control instructions instead of just some.

Really? My computer is four years old, falling apart, and has never received a hardware upgrade, and all the games run perfectly smooth for me.

EDIT: Took me a long time, but I finally got another trophy! Woohoo! Yeah, by the time I wake up in the morning, it'll belong to someone else, but oh well.

I don�t know if the �Challenges� mean anything, but I actually issued a challenge to InsaneDavid without meaning to. I was just curious what the button did. The challenge still stands though. :)

Funny thing about Frogger though. I was playing thinking I could play forever because it wasn�t getting any harder. Then suddenly I died without warning. I didn�t think I could possibly have run out of time, but then I noticed how much faster the timer was going down then before! Makes for a bit of a different challenge than the Frogger I�m used to. I like it. :)

I haven't played all the games yet but I've enjoyed playing Asteroids (despite owning a few home versions of it including the Playstation compilation), Pac-Man and Balloon Bomber among others. I have trouble with Pac-Man as far as controlling him goes...it seems I'm not the only one. Breakout is a game I've yet to figure out how to move the paddle...

That "Wheel Of Fortune" game has to be rigged. At one point, I got 4 bankrupts in a row, regularly got 2 in a row, and once had 5 bankrupt spins in a single round. ARRRRRGH!

yeah, tell me, i already got over a dozen of those, yeah, that's how often i had a trophy and lost it again

btw, i wish there would be a daily ranking too with meseta given to the top three of the day (midnight reset once again)

I suppose it's possible, but the prospect of playing Wheel of Fortune 50 more times to top it doesn't sound as thrilling as, say, playing Frogger or Asteroids or Monkey Dive.

Once I get my Donkey Kong item, I might be putting my meseta into Monkey Dive or Asteroids, because I know I can beat the current high scores if I just practice a lot.

Also, my meseta is now 147, which is way too high. It should be under 10, I believe. After I played a couple times, I saw it was up to 18, but, unless you win meseta for Top 10 scores or something, it should be under 10.

I hope this is an OK thread to post this! If these things could be fixed, that'd be great.

Well, been playing all the new games. Cool stuff. As far as I'm concerned, you can never have too many games.

Although I made myself extremely frustrated trying to improve my score at Bumpcopter. After a ton of premature resets, I finally improved my old score of 238 to 239. :/

I'm going to need a flawless run to meet or beat the high score of 244. Levels 4 and 6 are the only ones that I really screw up on.

Honestly, I'm pretty shocked I still have the Match trophy. Been going on 2+ days now, and it's still a front-page popular game. And the thing is, I'm nearly positive I can beat my own score if someone else takes it, too.

I thought the Hexxagon score I got was good, but the two scores at the top now are going to take a lot to beat (and some dumb luck on the computer part to screw up).
