I think you mean DJ Boy, which was for the Genesis and Arcade.

Yeah, the logo's kinda funky. For a while, I thought DJ-boy was W-boy.

I used to love DJ Boy. I bought the import back when it came out. Later I sold it and a few years after that bought the domestic version. I was pissed to find out they took out the ending that was in the import.

What type of game is this? I have never heard of it before this post.... Sounds kinda interesting.

It's a beat 'em up on rollerskates. I don't like it as much today but it's still enjoyable.

I won it on eBay and I had no idea what it was. Now someone posted a screenshot, it rings some bells. Not to many bells, mind you, but a few. The OR Guide suggests its a 4 on the rarity scale if I remember correctly. Not so bad.

The arcade version also had the voice of the late, great Wolfman Jack.

I remember seeing this on the rental shelf as a kid and never rented it because it had no pics on the back of the game. I figured they were hiding the suckitude of the game, so I never rented it. I always wondered wether I was missing out or not...

It's a pretty average beat em up with a very unique graphical style. Especially on the level 1 and 2 bosses. It also added to the typical beat-em-up formula by allowing you to buy upgrades between levels.

The big drawback is that the Genny version is only 1 player though and it cripples the experience.

From what you guys have said, I think I made a good/sound purchase. Cheers for all the replies. I look forward to obtaining my recent ebay orders next week.

Man I wish BB Rap Boys (the sequel, that was an awesome game IIRC :embarrassed:) had a home version :bawling: DJ boy was alright but it is a bit crappy today still good for a few laughs....
