Went out for a regular game hunt today, came home with a fresh from the wild Rockman Complete Works 5 in very nice shape minus spine card. I almost missed it, then the guy who owned the Game Over (who has some stiff prices, but good lord, the selection of retro games is phenomenal) almost didn't want to sell it but hoard it instead. He remembered me from his days at Play N Trade and knew I go in with guns blazing, so he sold it to me for $30. First of the series on the PSX to just be stumbled upon, a nice nice find.

Pro Powerful Yakku 94 and 93 Complete from same seller of Mahjong Tohaiden
SF Memory Cart with Wrecking Crew 98 ($25 plus an unreasonable shipping charge. I want to write games to this flash cart, so I don't have to spned ridiculous money and/or use donor carts on an expensive flash cart)

Boxed copies can go for that much too just not often or outside of Yahoo Japan. Agreed in full on the box non-essential point.

Hey PSony, I might have an answer regarding the missing instructions. I recently found an Asian version of Brave Fencer Musashi, and it came with a Japanese instruction manual, and a seperate bilingual manual in English/Chinese. So maybe the previous owner of the Last Blade lost the second manual.

No idea. Heard about the coming repro, but most likely the packaging would be US style (which is fine). However since I mostly collect japanese boxed games nowadays, this one was more up my alley. Came across it while casually looking for those all-in-one CRT TV + super famicom units.

This is a fairly lacklustre affair, especially compared to the improvements made in Astro Boy Omega Factor (US/Europe). I cannot see a reason why anyone would get this version over Omega Factor, unless it's for a collection. Omega Factor is also cheaper so my advice get that in the future if you find TA to not be too interesting.

Thats not a bad price, especially considering the system by itself can go for $100-150. I'm always on the look out for one in the wild but I've only seen two TG16 games in the last five years and no systems so I doubt the Japanese versions will be popping up anytime soon. It would be nice though.

Terra Cresta (Famicom version). $10 loose seems like a good price. More than the NES version on amazon, but the NES version appears to have wrong-sounding music. :P (comparing the FC ROM to both the NES ROM and a youtube video that appears to be captured from a real NES)

Hori Fighting Commander PCE
It feels exactly like an SNES controller and has a better dpad than the Avenue Pad 6 and also independent and multi speed turbo/slow motion. It also matches the color scheme of my PCE Duo. I'm going to use it as the default controller.

Magical Drop III Saturn, got so tired of playing the US version on Data East Arcade Classics Wii due to no story mode.

I've seen that controller a few times, hows the cord length?

Slightly shorter than the official controllers. It doesn't matter to me since I sit right in front of the tv.

I recently picked up the European Sega Master System game Pac-Mania in a game store for $3.95. It's boxed, but there's no instruction manual.

shorter than PCE controllers!? yikes.
Anyway. A few things arrived. Among them a bit of stuff for FM Towns Marty, Twin Famicom, MSX2. Some work to make these worthwhile as they had little for cables or such included. Oh and an adorable Lum cushion.
