How Many Games Do You Have For Your Newest System?

So do you have a lot of games for whatever system is the one you've acquired most recently? My newest system is the XBox...I'm not sure how long I've had that but I got it not too long after the last price cut...seems like a year or two. I still have a lot of games for it already, 56 now...it will be 57 when I game I just won on eBay arrives...that's the Blockbuster exclusive game "Outlaw Golf: 9 Holes of X-Mas". I bought the GameCube first and I think my GC library is only 58 so one more XBox purchase and I'll have as many games for it as I do for the Cube. Other recent XB purchases include both MVP Baseball 2005 and Major League Baseball 2K5 as well as Lego Star Wars and Doom 3.

Well, my newest systems are the Saturn, Sega CD, and Sega 32X. I bought all three of these from a friend for only $32, including two Genesises with games for each one. I think I got at least 10 games for each one of these systems (well, excluding the 32X. He only had Doom for it). So, hmm I would say that I have about 20 games for the Saturn, 10 for the CD, and 1 for the 32X (I'm not going to include the Genny cause I already owned one before I bought all of this stuff from him).

For me its the N-Gage. I had some games for it (like many here seem to do) before I got it thanks to that great $5 sale around last christmas. I'v only had my N-Gage for about 4 months. I always knew I'd get one but I had to wait for my current phone contract to run out so I could get one for free. Bottom line is I've got 36 games for it so far and there is only one more US release I can get untill they release more games. 36 is about the same amount of games I have for my Game Cube and PS2 and I have one game for my XBox.

Wow, that's got my 57 games for the XB beat...I got the GC on its launch day and only have about 58 games for it. Of course, I've not kept every game I've bought. Is this what they call controlled fanaticism...limiting your console purchases while buying tons of software? :D

Lemme see here for the 3do I have 3 games for it, Gex, Dragons Lair, Samuri Showdown. Its a nice system I just can't find much for it.

I bought an Xbox about 8 weeks ago and this morning I had 18 games...but this afternoon I traded 4 in and bought 2....so as I type this I sit at 16. I vowed to myself that with THIS system I would only keep games that I would play again. All others I would trade in after I'd finished them. I don't WANT to collect Xbox games so it makes no sense to have a game like Sudeki (which I finished last night) sitting on my shelf when I know that I'd never play it again. I'm trying to make a concious effort not to have thousands of dollars tied up in idle games any more. That's what my N64 collection is for!! LOL LOL :D

The newest system I got, in terms of new-to-me, was a Game Boy Color about 2 months ago, little longer, and I've got 24 original GB games, 4 hybrid GB/GBC and 3 GBC carts, as well as half a dozen or so in the mail from lowballing eBay auctions. A fair few of these are boxed, too, which is nice, at least for me :)

The newest systems I have in terms of release are the Xbox with about 5 games, the GameCube with about 45 games and a few in the mail, and the PS2 with about 160 games..

I've got 5 N-Gage games as well, but no N-Gage.. seriously considering getting rid of them, but that's always a bad idea, as you regret it later. At least that's been my experience with getting rid of games!

Though, I have since bought duplicate variations of these consoles (Such as a PStwo and an NTSC U PS2, as well as a Blue Canadian Xbox Halo II edition), so one of those would really be the newest of the three...

So technically, the Xbox would be my very newest, for which I only have two NTSC games for, which is quite sad really...


I also have an NTSC U PStwo on it's way, and next week will be swapping my black PAL PStwo for a silver one, so then that will be my newest, technically...
