Nintendo announced today that former company president Hiroshi Yamauchi, 77, will be stepping down from his position on the board of directors after a shareholder meeting on June 29. Yamauchi has been a member of Nintendo's administration for 55 years

I thought he said they'd have to pry the company out of his cold dead hands? Man, he was one of my favorite people in the gaming industry because the man don't give a fuck about what anyone else thinks and even though I think that led to some poor decisions, I gotta respect that in this very focus group driven age. I wonder how much input he'll have as an "advisor" now.

I'm sure that ha already squandered his younger years with prostitutes as well (Love Hotels anyone?). LOL
