Went out and found a radioshack TRS-80 for 5 bucks.

Also got the infamous (on 4chan anyway) "the offiical nintendos player's guide" (the one that says mega man takes place in "monsteropolis") for three bucks in DAMN GOOD condition as I choose to call it. Cover has a little wear but man the pages are minty.

Picked up a pokemon gold GBC holder thingie, since I already have a silver one. So now I have a nice matching set.

Got a luigi and gooba fast food toy, as well as two tamagotchis and a few knockoffs for 50 cents.

My Lovely Assistant also picked up a copy of Warioware touched that i need to pry from her hands to give a shot, heh.

Oh yeah, and we hung out at the mall with Captain Yashiro, and watched him be good at DDR.

I went out to hit up some more gamecrazy stoers today and while heading back I stopped in at Gamezone, traded in a few carts from GC and picked up:

Genesis - Funny World / Balloon Boy (loose) - 4

Genesis - Light Crusader (boxed) - 5
Genesis - Wimbledon Championship Tennis (loose) - .99

Also stopped in at A-Z Pawns and got:

Genesis - Herzog Zwei (loose)
Two genesis manuals - Hard Drivin' & Side Pocket

All for 9 bucks. Now I got a nice mint herzog. Much better than my nasty rental stickered copy.

Mega Drive carts (loose, £10 for the lot):
Mega Games 1
Columns
Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing
Theme Park (with manual, though). I noticed that this cart is more squarish than my other carts - plus, it references the Genesis system on the back. US cart, woo. However, it plays on my PAL Mega Drive fine, which is strange.

Sega Master System 2, loose, Alex Kidd built-in, with all cables and a controller, R-Type chucked in - £8

I picked up the Ms. Pac-Man version of the TV Games unit yesterday. That brings up an interesting question...do those of you who have bought those...and who keep track of how many games they have...count these units along with your other games (cartridges & cds)?

Theme Park. I noticed that this cart is more squarish than my other carts

This is because it is an EA Games cart, they are slightly larger and have a yellow tab which lots of people mistake for a button!

As for me, my parents jsut got back from a weekend trip to venice, italy... and to make the fact that they were coming home even more awesome, they picked up these for me there!!!

mega drive gunstar heroes-$4. tragically, this might be a d.o.a., as i've cleaned it a few times and can't get it to work on either my nomad or my early model genesis.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v203/orangest/atari.jpg

paid $30 for this lot. more than i should have, and i don't necessarily need it all, but the collector justification/insanity of not passing over a nice little find like this took over. football and 01 combat are missing their manuals, the others are complete. all are in nice shape.

that gunstar heroes seems like a " bootleg " to me not sure but check on the back to see if the screws are actually plastic which meaning the cart case can be opened easily and check the pcb inside because ... I had one same thing happened to me I got a free bootleg alien soldier from someone years ago and it never worked but i always felt so guilty if i was to throw it away in the trash but one day I somehow decided to examine the cart case and noticed that it had plastic screws instead of real screws so i decided to open the cart case it popped easily and snapped back on easily it turned out the pcb was on the wrong side so i just switched it and it WORKED !!! and it had a black GLOB in the middle on the pcb obivously it was one of the hong kong or taiwan's work LOL

Scored a squeaky clean PSX 9001 with a new red dualshock for $19.99 Canadian.

No discolored shell, no nicotine stains or smell, no pet hair, no crumbs or food matter. It looks like a system that was owned by an adult gamer and probably saw extremely light duty.

Now I can continue with my PSX library without having to own a PS2.
