Reading the Wave magazine, free magazine in the san jose bay area, and saw some shelving blocks that are tetris shaped. Thought I'd passed it along cause I didn't see it anywhere on the forum. It would be cool to see some action shots of these shelves full of games.

Great idea and looks like awesome craftsmanship, but at those prices, I doubt that many are sold...

Too bad the prices are so ridiculous becayse my games would look great in a couple of those. If I knew someone with a wood shop, I could make them myself.

They look great. I'd be tempted to make some of my own, a little smaller, like a square around a meter in side. With good planning, games would fit right in. They could use some colors tho.

The prices are extremely high for only how big they are but someone with the know how could paint these things up in the respective colors and have there own tetris room of doom. i'm currently in the process of trying to design new shelving and might want to go with this look its something i hadn't thought of.
Price is probably high just because they are made from real wood (not that compressed sawdust stuff). Wood prices have just gone nuts lately... They do look really nice though. 8-)

They look great. Would be awesome in a room of doom. It wouldn't be hard to put together a similar idea yourself. And of course to make a nice square unit you're gonna have to do a nice bit of Tetris playing to get them to line-up right

Those shelves look very nice. They would look better if they were painted in other colors though.

They are different, but damn could I buy the games with the money that one of those shelves costs.

Noooo... I seem to be having trouble viewing certain Quicktime movies - Such as this one...
I think that my Quicktime has reset back to default after I reinstalled it after a system restore.
What settings do I need turned on to be able to view this? Anyone able to help, as I can now no longer view certain files on my system which I was able to before...

i was planning on building some tetris shaped shelves for my games and TV to go in, but plywood is so dang expensive, that the whole project would have cost around 75 bucks, not counting paint, which is totally out of my price range. i was inspired by an episode of monster house where they redo a teacher's lounge and add "puzzle" shelves.

man those are awesome. I would love to see it in real life, just to get a good picture of how it would look stacked with games and the such. Someone on this site with a little skill and a table saw should give it a try
