Exodus (Sega Genesis) Complete box/manual/cart: $10.00

What's funny, now that we've talked about the stores we go to, is that I passed on that very copy of Exile for weeks! It's actually not a bad game, I just try to keep my limit to $5 for genesis games at that store (they have so many!).

As a matter of convenience, I stopped into the Future Shed to pick up the DVD Playback kit for the Xbox. (It's the only TV in the house that wasn't already DVD-capable, and sometimes it would just be easier or more comfortable to watch movies there.) Of course, I made the mistake of taking my kids with me, and it was looking to be impossible to leave the store without getting them a game. So I opted for cheap rather than good, and walked out with

Future Tactics: The Uprising Xbox NEW - $9.99 CDN
Yu-Yu Hakusho: Spirit Detective GBA NEW - $4.97 CDN

I've heard mixed about FT, but the average score on YYH at GameRankings was 3.8 O_O

Well, a very special day for me. I did an inventory of my games last night and found that I had 20 games that weren't entered into IGN. That brought my total to 995 and today I went out and got game 1000!

So here are the finds for today:

Qbert 3 (SNES) $5
Mortal Kombat (GG) $1.80
Crusader (Saturn) $5
Vertical Force (VB) $5

And Game #1000

Nightmare on Elm Street (NES) $3

Not quite the memorable game I wanted #1000 to be, but I dont have $400 for a Stadium Events lieing around right now. I'm off now to mix a drink and stare at my game wall in bliss.

27th St....today they had a bagged N64 setup with ram pak, but had $29.99 on it, and wanted $4.99 for each loose game (I took a Mario Party 2 though)...guess I lucked out on who was pricing the other day :) They also got a bunch of Target seconds today, including a 15" LCD TV...but at $350.00 I passed. Prices really swing to the extremes at that location.

Nice finds yourself by the way...what store had the nice Saturn stuff?

I had an overall excellent day (which is rare, in itself).

First, I got my Amiga CD32 package in the mail. Here are some shots of about half of the contents (not taken are about 15 more games, controllers, demos/samplers, etc).

Now later on today (just a short while ago) I checked out the somewhat local Value Village. What waited for me there was:

All $4.99

Warhawk (PSX, Long-Box, mint)
X-Com: UFO Defence (PSX, Long-Box, mint) YAY R7! :D

So that was pretty much how my day turned out!

8-)

PS - Looks like just about everyone that's posted so far has had really awesome stuff lately. Keep it up! ;)
