If I had the cart I would definitly be selling it theres no one that likes collecting games more than me but to spend that much for a cart is just insane..If it went for around 1.500.00 that would be crazy but 6.500.00 is insane
Seriously, if you have over $6,000 to waste on a video game, try donating it to charity instead.

Well, folks, this is it. It's the beginning of the end (or is it just the end?) of the $2k NWC cart. Looks like these two auctions are going to foreshadow such ridiculous numbers in the future. I dare say that within a year or two, 10-15 NWC carts will have been listed on eBay, with at least one (if not 2) changing hands in five figures. Seriously. If I had $3600-something to spare, I'd buy that one that was just listed...

asking prices don't change the market. Now if it actually sells at 3600, that's another thing entirely. Actually, whether or not this one sells will be a good indicator of the legitimacy of the bids on the other copy.

The second copy's label looks discolored as well which will probably reduce its value.

I didn't see this one listed here...I think Ben Smith is the seller for this one, so I guess he decided to sell the second NWC cart that he found:

There are so many NWC's now on eBay, it's not funny!!
How are these buyers ever to know if the one they're bidding on is real, or a repost of a picture!?
Does anyone have an NWC cart number tracking going on ??

These are the ones that either showed up on eBay or are in collector's hands...I have pics of all of them except for the first one. I'm sure that there are other people on here with a much more complete list than this, though.

And how many of those does DreamTR own?
(Not a joke, I think he mentioned owning more than one at one time.)

really gay >> what a bunch of rich nintendo nerds >> shitty, i would rather rent a few pornstars for the weekend then pay that much for such a weak game cart.. but i'm sure the geeks bidding on it are homosexuals.

That post was absolutely mind-numbing.

I agree with you ClubNinja. Perhaps he's just insecure with his own sexuality.

Of course they are showing up now! Demand is high because people have the cash to spend! Player 2 has sold two on ebay in less than a week at BUY IT NOW prices of over $3500 apiece. I am sure someone is going to get one at a good price, but it's out of control and now depends on what people are willing/wanting to spend. Let the NWC frenzy begin!
Also, to clarify a few things, I only have one gold and one gray cart left. I used to have 6 golds and 2 grays, but i sold them all for quite a bit of cash, and it helped me with a lot of my game collections....The last gray I own is near perfect and the number is 0090 I believe. The gold cart I have is MINT, nary a scratch on it, and looks like it has not been played. I have access to ONE more gold cart if need be in case of an emergency, hopefully that never takes place.

The price of the cart actually went downa bit to $6,100
Not surprisingly laurasabd with a zero feedback never contacted the seller so her bid was cancelled. I wonder how much she alone raised the price of this game only to be disqualified? If I were theother bidders I'd be pissed but of course, nobody forced them to keep bidding themselves.
rage_nyc seems to have purchased another copy elsewhere so he's out of the running as well.

It doesnt suprise me if the winning bidder doesnt pay. As others are going for $3500 BIN and mostly because the 0 feedback user pushed the price up really high.

Well, now that the insults are flowing, this topic is done. Feel free to start an intelligent conversation without insulting people. OK?
