I replaced my 72 pin connector on my NES earlier this year, it's been working fine, but just started giving me all types of issues, and now will not work at all. Is there any way using a voltage/multimeter type of equipment that you can actually tell which pins are not making connection (assuming that's the issue)?

Is it worth buying another 72pin?

That's a big assumption to make. You forgot to tell us whether all your games are 100% clean, and whether they may have gunked up the new connector by now.

My games have all been cleaned, took them apart with the tool, scrubbed with q-tip/rubbing alcohol/white eraser on bad ones. I have games that have definately worked before on this same system.

I've cleaned the 72pin and the area where it meets the mainboard with alcohol and a toothbrush. I've pushed the pins so it seems nice and snug to me - but I have a feeling there maybe a bad pin or one that just isn't connecting well, or maybe even an issue with the connection of the main board to the connector. As an FYI, I have had the security chip disabled for some time, so I know it's worked under those situations as well. I was hoping to maybe narrow it down as to what to focus on, it's been a long couple of days doing what I've done so far!

Edit: Just to clarify - I keep getting a white screen.
