Ok guys, i need some quick opinions on something im working on. What are your favourite video game developer/publisher Logos?
Any opinions are appreciated!

I can't think of much right now, except for Sierra. (Probably because I have a stack of Sierra games sitting right next to me.) A logo where it doesn't say the name of the company on it, but you know what it is as soon as you look at it because the logo is related to the title of the company, or something.

Nintendo's my favorite company logo, but as for a logo in general; the Gamecube is by far my favorite.

The Nintendo, Sega, and Capcom logos have stood the test of time. The old Konami logo was great as well, and it's a shame they changed it. I like the Rockstar logo too.
That being said, it's hard to pick just one, but I'll go with Nintendo as my ultimate favorite.

Nintendo and SEGA logo's for me. Also the sega cd logo is very inventive, infact it took me years to realize the cd image atuclay was made of the letters C and D :eek 2:

My avatar, the Nintendo logo is best. But a very close second is the Dreamcast swirl logo!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dreamcast swirl logo is pretty awesome. GameCube is my favorite in regards to a system logo - for a company my favorite is Nintendo's.

The big Commodore C is a nice logo. I don't like it when companies use their whole name in the logo.

For some reason when I saw this thread I thought of Treasure....dunno why though. Anyway like most people, my favorites are Nintendo and Sega's.

Really, though...Sega, I'd say. Don't really have a favorite per se, either it's visually appealing, or it's not.

The new ubisoft, coupled with the music. Reminds me of ubisoft, bringing it all together.

Damn, this is hard to look at objectively... I'll go with Atari. It's simple, easy to reproduce, and distinctive enough to convey meaning. It also has good proportions; the three, sweeping lines are elegant, like a ballroom gown.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go with Ubisoft. Depending on how you look at it, it's either a swirling drain or an eyeball on the end of an antenna. And it's purple. Very distinctive.
Not only because I'm a fan of their games, but I've always liked the simple aesthetics of the Rare logo (RareWare). Blue n' gold....nice color combination.
Squaresoft's logo is nice too. I loved the Boss Game Studios logo from the N64 days. I miss those guys.

The old Konami logo. And the 3D "N" Nintendo 64 Logo is another one of my favorites.
