We'll see if this one gets merged too...

Missed out on the 'first edition' (or whatever you want to call it) of Beggar Prince? Well here ya go! (http://cgi.ebay.com/Beggar-Prince-RPG-Sega-Genesis-Mega-Drive-NEW-LOOK_W0QQitemZ220159168959QQihZ012QQcategoryZ4315Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

I'd like to pick it up so I have both, but just too much for me to spend on 1 game (plus I only play on the Nomad). Er, if that didn't make it clear, this isn't my auction, I just had a search going for it.

The new cover art is absolutely amazing! I love the Prince's expression! Thanks for this, now I have a reason to buy it again. My original slipcover came to me with some water damage to it, I didn't feel like bother Brandon Cobb about something so nitpicky, heh. (I'm looking for a copy of the first/second run version if anyone has one up for trade/sell. *wink*)

I will continue to support Super Fighter Team and the upcoming Tavern RPG, as well as any homebrew company/game that creates some passion and heart and write their code with their blood, sweat, and tears. All those homebrew games which play like nothing more than a freeware app do not interest me... games like Beggar Prince make me happy to be a videogamer.

Keep dreams alive.

So like I kinda wish I had a genny. Oh well.

Is this game actually good? Best Genny RPG was Phantasy Star 4 - does it beat PS4?

I havent played beggar prince for more than an hour, but i´d say that PS4 is better...but that is to be expected...

PS4 is in my opinion the best genesis rpg there is...but beggar prince is pretty good too :D

I like it just as much as PS IV. It is very different, though. Much more simplistic and funny. You must not equip anything, there is no money system. The graphics on maps are very detailed.
Different, but on the same level as PS IV.

The new cover art is eleventy-one times better than the first lot ... I know it's a stupid reason to buy/not buy the game, but as any publisher will tell you, it makes a hell of a difference anyway.

Fixing those save bugs will make a lot of people happy though. Congrats! If I still had a MD, I would buy a copy.

Do we have an ETA on this 3rd batch? I heard they were supposed to ship sometime this month? Any truth to that?

That's from our official statement over @ beggarprince.com, that the orders will begin shipping this month (November) - and yes, it's true - the orders will begin shipping just before the end of the month, in the order in which they were received. On the day of shipment, confirmation e-mails will be sent.

I pre-ordered the first run back then.

The changes are just enough to get me to buy a third run one. :)

I would have pre-ordered if I knew about it earlier, but I didn't get your email until today.

SPOILER!!!
SPOILER!!!
SPOILER!!!

I´m stuck in this game, so can anyone help me?. I put the game back on the shelf about half a year ago. But I really want to complete this great game. I´m close to the ending of the game, and I was talking to a Fairy or maybe a woman, inside at hut in a forest. As far as I remember, she told me to collect 3 things. She gave me 3 clues, which I wrote down on a peace of paper back then:
- The happy celestial grass
- Fluorescent kelp
- Demon protection grass

Can someone give me the precise location of what I´m loking for?. A have used 40+ hours on this game so far, and I wont give up just now :(.

I though Akrista's Ring Anime wannabe was the my number one on my list but now this..

Also the dialog is kinda ifi and what is the prince blushing at. He looks like a General Tufu incarnation

Can you trust a face like me:image:

Still nice job of not creating another mini game. At least it is not another mini game. I look forward for NOT ANOTHER DOOM DRAGON END BOSS.

Again congradulations for creating a SEGA RPG that well looks 1981 Jappy while retaining it's Westerner Spirit. Reminds me of a DAD game on Genesis.

This is like "ADYIN Chronicals: The Last Mage" which completely ripped off "Quest 64" but everything looked Engrish.

CONGRADUATIONS!!!!!!

You get the first one in the flower garden of the elves. Talk to everyone and you will soon get some clues to find it. The second one forces you to go under sea. You will need your bat wings to locate where to go. The last one is received in the graveyard.

Lots of emoticons, something about Quest 64, etc.

Did you play the game naked with a towel over your lap?

Is it worth the $46 how long is it? Also it seems they've had a few box art variations? Also how many copies have been made?

And if anyone has a copy they'd like to sell let me know what you want (less than 46 shipped obviously)

All proceeds from these auctions will be donated to a this great charity that benefits children and children's hospitals around the country.

The format for these auctions will be a little different in that they will be 30-day auctions to give the most exposure to the items up for auction as well as increased exposure to this "gaming" charity. Also these auctions will be "Private" auction format meaning the bidders names will not be disclosed or visible in the auction listing.
