Yeah, this guy is in South Carolina. Unless Joe spent time between setting his store up to travel to a computer in South Carolina where he could make these posts, it ain't him.

Eh, i found it funny... after i got past the inital shock of seeing a priceless proto broken into pieces...

On the plus side, i really did find a site that would sell the cart for $4. I have some huge doubts as to if they have it in their inventory now, but they probably did at one time.

It might be just me, but I think references to butter should be declared no longer funny. That's been WAY over played. The Butter Monster however is still funny. Are we ever going to be told where that graphic originated?

This thread was fake. He never found a proto, he just faked the whole thing. Many thought it was funny, but I didnt quite see the humor in it. Making many belive that a proto was found, make a fake pic of it being crushed then say its fake.

Anyway, what you said about not dumping a game and if the proto gets damaged and its the only one. I dont think the game would be lost forever. The developers who worked on the game probly have their own prototype.
But there are tons of games out there so if a few dont get released I wouldnt consider it as a big loss. Altho, there are one unreleased game I'd really wanted to be released and its Leisure Suite Larry 8 - Lust in Space.

It doesn't sound like you've done much research. Lust in Space was never even started, the farthest they got was an incredibly short demo video of what a 3D-modeled Larry Laffer might look like. I don't think Lowe even got around to designing the game. It's available on allowe.com.

I know, Ive seen that 3d movie long time ago. Its still unreleased even if it wasnt made :P
It was announced to be released for x-mas in 97 or 98. I remember I used to call a gamestore and ask about it.
Also says "Comming Soon" after you beat Larry 7. So.. yes, its a unreleased game. Its a shame tho :(

It was called the KURAKU BASUTA ATAKU in the original Japanese version. Some stupid translators just changed the name and ruined it for everyone, like they always do.
