Repairing an Intellivision 2 controller [Archive]

Yep, I'm glad I have the 2nd model Intellivision, because I can remove this controller that half died.

None of the downward directions on the disc work. Also, buttons 1, 2, and 3 on the Keypad are dead. Is there anyone that can tell me how to fix this/will fix this for me?

I am having similiar problems with one of my intellivision controllers - the control disc doesn't function at all anymore.
Anybody know how to remedy the situation?

Though I'm not sure how good it applies to the INTV 2 controllers. YMMV.

I do, but it was part of the Knowledge Base that we had so many moons ago that has since fallen defunct (not to mention the one or two server swaps we've had since then). So I highly doubt I can bring it back up for you, sorry.
