How many Genji Gloves do I need? Each player can only have two relics. And I already have a pair equipped to um.. one of them.

I don't know, I like ripping them off the dragons for sport personally, just because Genji gloves rule. They let you attack once each with a weapon in each hand in a single turn. And you only need to equip one to a character to get the maximum effect if I'm to understand that right.

mix them with the offering relic for a whopping 8x attack.

the auction house just amuses me. there are four espers youc an win (only two prior to the floating continent event) and a couple of ok relics. as for red herring: a talking chocobo, a minature airship, and is there one more thing? its been about a year since i've played. i always wanted to shove a shitload of money down the kid's throat and be like "OUTBID THIS", but alas, you cannot.

being invisible makes you ultra susceptible to skeen attacks by the ninjas. you cannot escape sneeze attacks, especially from chupon (its a scripted event). there are two "return to airship" jumps on the continent. after you fight the boss (which you can see on the screen like a chrono trigger style encounter) i recommend you save, jump, and do ANYTHING you may have neglected do to in the world. i'm trying to be unspoilerific, PM if you want a more detailed insight.

You don't have to be unspoiler like. I've got a players guide and have been following the FAQ closely the whole time. So spoilers won't matter.

Though really don't go too far. I still haven't gotten to the World of Ruin yet.

I am bumping this to keep y'all updated. After what, like many many months? I popped it back in again to play. Man are there a lot of hard enemies on this island. But I surived.. at least to the boss. I made my way to the save point and decided I'd try the boss. Man was that a bad decision. He kicked my ass. Kicked my ass good. I was doing so well too. I thought I had him. But I misjuged his Max HP. I misread the players guide and thought "5000HP? That's nothing. But it was 5000MP that they were talking about. Atma Weapon has 24,000HP. D'OH! He wiped me out good. Don't know how much I took from him. But it wasn't nearly enough.

So I reloaded and jumped. Especially since I used a LOT of my health items on the battles leading UP to Atma. I'll prepare a little more this time.
