Project Snowblind (just beat Oddworld Stranger's Wrath).

Not a bad game...it's easy to see the Deus Ex influences, but it's a good thing they changed the name. If it was released under the Deus Ex name, Crystal Dynamics corporate offices probably would have been firebombed by Warren Spector-loving fanatics.

Jesus, you saw the uproar over Invisible War. Snowblind would have fared much worse :(

Incredibly short game, though. I started playing it yesterday and I may very well beat it today. :(

I've been playing Mega Man X Collection and loving almost every minute of it. I've beaten X1-3 already and I'm aiming for 4 and 5 by the weekend (beaten the PSX versions already though). I'll probably not try and beat X6 because I can't stand it but I've got X8 waiting for another beating and I may have to buy a copy of X7 to round out my collection.

I decided to start up a new season on my MVP Baseball 2004 but I game my Pirates team their 3 newest players that they got in real-life: 1B Sean Casey, 3B Joe Randa and OF Jeromy Burnitz. I lost my first two games...I may tinker with the line-up a bit more but won't be able to make it 100% accurate unless I create a few younger players that aren't in that game normally...

I had some time to play a few games this weekend, and I flew through a bunch of them in short bursts:

- Golden Sun: Lost Ages (GBA) - I unstuck myself and then became completely stuck again. This game has temporarily earned its way out of my DS becasue there are too many "what now?" moments.
- Frogger Helmet Chaos (DS) - Enjoyable, yet still not really a "Frogger" game.
- Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (DS) - I got slightly further, and then can't figure out what to do. I must be the worst Castlevania player ever. Seriously.
- Sims 2 (DS) - I have been stuck at the same part for about a week. I believed it was another EA glitch, but it is just "misdirection" that they did apparently on purpose. I only know that because I just looked it up. I will finish this game tomorrow so I never need to touch it again.
- Anamaniacs: Great Edgar Hunt (GCN) - If you like the Anamaniacs, it's got great writing. If you don't, don't bother as the gameplay itself is confusing at best. I can't wait to see more Anamaniac cut-scenes though.
- Strike Force Bowling (GCN) - All I can say about this game is that after five or six games, I still feel like I don't know what I'm doing at all. I probably won't be playing it again for a while. Quite disappointing.
- MLB 2K5 (Xbox) - I played through 7 more games and won 5 of them. Except for the baserunning stuff, the game rocks. I have about 20 more games before the post-season now.
- F-Zero GP Legend (GBA) - Whoa is this game tougher than I expected. Not bad though.

All of the above with the exception of MLB were probably played for 10 minutes or less. I don't think I'll have any time for games this week, but I'm glad I got some played this weekend!

Interestingly, after playing some of the college game, I pulled out my XBox copy of MVP Baseball 2005 and played a few games of that after I set up a new season updating my Pirates roster...but I got Jason Kendall back. I refuse to acknowledge that the Pirates traded him away :D

Woot! I beat Sims 2 (DS) this morning! (Okay, I shouldn't be that excited, as I will never, ever play this game again...) Now the DS slot on my DS will be used mostly for Lunar Dragon Song for a long time, I'm sure.

And yes, I've heard that Lunar DS is pretty bad, but I still want to go through it :)

Hey, having fun is all that counts. All I've been playing so far this year is baseball...3 different baseball games but still...! I started up MVP Baseball 2005 and just started a new season. I'm thinking of using the create-a-player option and putting both myself and my best friend who passed away 5 years ago into the game. I just need to decide in which position. I'm thinking of putting my friend in as a 2nd baseman and maybe myself as an outfielder...

playing Forza at the moment, not a bad game, not a fan of "car bling" but that can be avoided.

also playing SC: Pandora Tommorow again, i feel the need to play through them again before double agent comes out, but Chaos Theory came out so fast after PT i didn't get a chance to go through it twice,

Colin Mcrae 2005 - damn this is a mother$^% of a hard game

Nice, I read up on that a while ago and got kinda interested. No money for an N-Gage at the moment, sadly.

For my part, The GG Shinobi 2 (The Silent Fury)! Japanese version of the second Shinobi on the Game Gear (few differences from what I've played in emulation). The GG's screen is still horrible, even with the Wide Gear, but I've gotten to the final area, and quite far in it at that. I'd like to finish it today - that would be a cool achievement.

I've been playing MVP Baseball 2005 on the XBox. I created two players (my late best friend plus myself) and am playing a season as the Pirates. In one game this evening, my own character got hurt and is out for 10 days...and then one of my best players (a real pitcher), Oliver Perez, got injured and is out for 30 days. This season just keeps getting better and better.

Been playing mostly College Hoops 2k6 for the Playstation 2.

I've been totally into the legacy mode. I'm in my second season at UMES (University of Maryland Eastern Shore) and I'm getting my ass handled, as it should be. I was 11-19 my first season. I am now 3-3 in my second season with a few tough games ahead of me before I face my conference schedule.

Awesome game. The first sports game in a few years that has been able to hook me.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. If I could bear to let even one of my characters die, I'd have finished this already. Great game.

Chronicles of Riddick. I finally got past the boring 'no-weapons' part, which was the biggest hurdle keeping me from finishing.

GTA: San Andreas. Just messing around. I love this game.

Phoenix Wright. One of my favs. The self-referential humor is great.

And of course, Animal Crossing: Wild World. Had my gates open for almost two days on Friday and Saturday. Don't know if anyone stopped by. Just got my first additional room. I'm going to start trying to visit other towns more often.

Man I have a long line of modern games waiting to be played, but I keep getting side-tracked. The only "modern" game I am playing right now is The Legend of Heroes for PSP. There are several PS2 games that I would like to start playing, like Road Trip, Culdcept, and working on GTA:SA some more. I keep playing old stuff though.

I've been playin almost nothin but worms blast the last 2 weeks or so, i had bought it for 10 euro, which was a nice "catch" imo...not that it's rare or anything but it's always nice to have a game like in your assortiment, and actually i didn't expect much of it at first, i've read a lot of revieuws about it and it never got good revieuws ( at least not in the mags over here anyway....)

So,i came home, put it in the 'cube, and man, i was hooked immediatly !, i couldn't stop playing the single player puzzle mode, and then a couple of days later an old friend of mine came over and we tryed the VS mode, again, we had a blast....today i finished the puzzle mode i am genuinly sorry that it's over :(

Sure,it's a total puzzle bobble / bust-a-move rip off, sure it aint the worms we're used to , sure it isn't anything new but c'mon, does it have to ?

To me,this is one of those typical games that doesn't get a lot of attention, doesnt recieve great revieuws, but i'd definatly call it a daimond in the rough....and i'm pretty sure the VS mode will be getting a lot more action everytime my friend comes, he always picks calvin that annoying sheep, and man, let me tell you, the sound of his boat made us laugh over and over again, silly i know... LOL
