Well, I'm trying to make this an all Animal Crossing Thread. However, I just included the friend codes as a plus.

Has anyone caught a bee yet? By the time I shake the tree and then switch to my menu screen to get out the net, they are all surrounding me. Then when I go back with the net in my hands, it's too late....not even close. How do you catch the bees?

Maybe one person shakes the tree while the other one catches the bees.

Actually, this thread is just for Animal Crossing. Just because it has the friend codes doesn't really make it an identical thread. For instance, I just asked a question about bees and got an answer. One thread just for Wi-Fi codes, one thread just for Animal Crossing (which happens to include codes).

I have a quick question that might be well known but I just don't get it. What are the green circles and the red triangles exactly mean on the "Friend Roster"? I thought it was just towns I been to that turned to a green circle but now I see a green circle at a town I have never been and from what I know, the person hasn't been to my town either.

I believe the red triangles refer to an "uncomfirmed" friend code - when the user on the other end doesn't have you listed as a friend, then the connection is incomplete and you can't visit their town. When a green circle appears, I think it means that they also have you listed as a friend, making their town visitable. Does that make sense? It's the only reasonable explanation I can think of.

Thanks to my good friends at DP, I finally managed to get a shovel (my Tom Nook was not selling it for a good five days straight going on six) and now I have peaches, pears, and oranges! Another friend of mine has apples, so I guess I just need cherries, coconuts, and whatever else is out there. :)

By the way, just to note - a friend of mine who I visited today said he managed to catch a bee solo. So it is possible to switch your net fast enough!

EDIT: I can confirm that catching bees is possible alone! When you find a honeycomb, switch to your subscreen. The bees will swarm you but you wont get stung until you switch out of your subscreen. Equip your net. Once you cancel out of the subscreen, start spamming your action button like a madman! It took me two tries - the first time I got stung. The second time, I swung the net once first and caught a bee. :D

How to get the secret scallop (golden axe)

1. Purchase a red turnip from Joan and plant it in the ground for one day. (Joan appears every Sunday from 6am to 12pm)

2.Dig up the turnip and feed it to wendell, who will give you the turban. (Wendell appears a random weekday from 6am to 12am, ask Booker to find out which day.)

3. Trade the turban to Sahara for the massage chair. (Sahara appears a random weekday from 6am to 12am, ask Booker to fid out which day)

4. Trade the massage chair to the Mayor to get the scallop. (The mayor is in front of the town hall during any holiday)

5. Trade the scallop to Pascal to get the golden axe, wich will never break. (Pascal appears a random weekday from 6am to 12am, ask booker to find out when.)

That sounds good... I think that if we had a furniture drop off place, once a person has picked up a piece of furniture, it will be in his/her catalogue, so then they could leave it in your town and order it for themselves.

Yea, I know why it didn't work the first time. As I said in my earlier post, I had my gate open but I wasn't looking at my DS. Eventually I peered down at it and noticed the green light was solid, so I was no longer connected to the wifi service. When I opened up my DS, my whole town had been shut down! :)

Basically this is what happened: both of us get to see the dialogue between the mother and child cats. This dialogue requires the user to move the text along. When one user finishes before the other, he or she has to wait for the other person to finish watching it too. Since I wasn't at my DS, the dialogue must have just sat there until you decided to shut down your DS. Whoops!

Luckily, the moment I fixed my DS you came knocking again, and I was able to watch the dialogue and together we completed the sequence. So for any other pair of folks who manage to get together, you both need to be present to make it work correctly!

I still haven't received any gift, and I'm off to work so I won't know probably until midnight tonight. I hope we both get rewarded for the task, it would seem kind of silly to only give the reward to the traveller :/

About the lost kitten scenario, as you might of read above, I was the one who had the kitten lost while Needle had the mom in his town. Anyway, I just wanted to update that I received a letter with a present in it for reuniting them.

I'm curious if both people involved get a present or just the one who has the kitten in their town. So, let us know if you get anything Needle or if anyone else knows about this. Thanks! :)
