Since I am still waiting for my DP Advance guide, I am wondering how many SNES games were released in total in the USA? This is not counting promotional games, just retail releases. Anybody have that number?

The SNES2 box has "over 700 titles" on the front. The redesign was late in the console's life (1997, 1998?), that number should be pretty close.

My master list says 723. I am not sure what it does and does not include though.

Yeah, good luck with that (I assume you mean you are going for a complete collection here)! I hope you've got some deep pockets...

It depends too if you mean USA LIST or NORTH AMERICAN list.
AFAIK 2 games were released only in mexico. The boxes and instructions manuals were in english though. The games are
SUPER COPA
and
International Superstar soccer deluxe
(Ive got both)...

Complete? Hell no. I require the cart to be in good condition (no major label rips, cracks..etc) and I have been trying to keep a dust cover on every cart I have (although I am missing 8 out of my 50 carts thus far), but I am not collecting boxed at all. It would take me my lifetime to complete a boxed collection at those prices (if I can find them as well!) and the whole collecting experience, at least for me, would not be as fun. I am not only collecting them, but playing the games with my daughter (her first game experience!)
Even still, with just loose carts, I have a feeling it is still going to be a rough one.
