If everything is in good shape and complete then I say yes, it is a good deal.

BTW, welcome to the forum!

Welcome, the price is on the fair side, and as long as everything works, you got yourself a fine deal.

Awsome to see a fellow NES collector.
I must say it is gonna be hard to find boxed games for a good price. I have over 150 NES games now and only a handfull of them are boxed.
Mind you i have only paid about $3 AUS per game!
Look around in privatly owned second hand shops (the real dirty scumy looking ones), and buy in bulk. You can get massive discount if you buy in bulk and pay with cash. For example, this one store i went to had like 60 NES games and i offered to buy them all for $75 AUS in cash. I totaly confused the salesmen by ofering to buy the lot and they said yes because they knew not many people do that. Even though there were a few doubles, there were some awsome games like megaman 3 in there!
Get yourself well known at the second hand shops in your area, even if you dont buy anything just talk to them about the games they have for sale. This one secondhand shop near me has no idea about video games so i tell them whats what (mind you i NEVER tell them the value of rare games that i want). Like i explaind to them what transfer pack is for the N^$ and how it works with pokemon. For that they gave me 60% discount! Now thats a lot considering i bought 20 games from there!
Half the fun of colecting is in the find, i know i could go on eBay and buy the game i want but i would rather wait and search all over town to find it for an amazing price. What i like to do is go out with some fellow collectors and go to every secondhand shop in a day and see what bargins you can find. Once you have been out buying you go back to someones house and stay up all night playing the games you just bought. Its awsome fun and what makes collecting so great.
I hope that info. helps with your collecting.

I wouldn't say it's a GREAT deal.

But yes, it is fair.

Someone was selling a Boxed NES Action set here for $40-$45, so maybe that'll give you a reference point.

Like has been said if everything is in good condition its a pretty good deal. Certainly better than some of the "deals" that are out there.

Most people here wouldn't buy it for that price, but that is because we've been doing this for years and know how to get those kinds of games a little cheaper (that, and we allready have those games). Still though, everybody spends a little bit more money on stuff when you first get into the hobby. I'd go for it, and venture into the wonderful world of collecting games.

I say if you can afford the price and are okay with it, then go for it! I too am starting out in collecting games and have begun with the XBOX. I enjoy PC First Person Shooters so this was the wise first choice.

Next I plan on getting into C64 and work my way up the ranks from Atari to X360.

I think you have the right idea going after everything complete to start .I went after a loose collection first then decided that i wanted the games complete. I wish I would of went for complete games to begin with finding loose instructions and boxes is a real hard..anyway good luck...

If you're planning to buy things on eBay I suggest you just watch things you're interested in for the first month. See how much they go for and how many of them are auctioned a month.

These days I get nothing but sweet deals! My worst pick ups were made during my first 2 months on eBay.

That looks like a good deal to me if everything is in great shape. Welcome to the forum.

I would agree to focus on something and stay with that for a while. I made the mistake of starting off too broad and have many things, but nothing special. Then again, rare games are not the focus of my collection.

I'm going for NES/Famicom stuff too this year. Good to see another NES collector. Welcome.
