New in box Ti99/4a - rare?

I don't suppose it's worth much, but I snagged a Ti99/4a, new in the box. Is this something cool? I never used a Ti computer before...

I've wondered that myself over the last week. I picked up the same thing last weekend along with a program recorder for $15 together. Though the boxes are a little beat up, they were obviously used by adults (the only program was "Home Business Planner" or something like that) and in spectacular condition inside.

It seems that on Ebay they go for about 20-25 apiece? I think that's what I saw. Maybe somebody else can step in and enlighten. Might be more a neat conversation piece than rare, though.

Pretty much sums it all up. It's a great find, especially if you're wanting to try out a bunch of TI games, because you've snagged one in super nice shape.

If you wanted to trade or sell it, you'd be better off dealing with a local collector who really digs TI stuff, and even then, I'd guess that $25 would be the most somebody would shell out.
