I recently uploaded pictures taken at the store on April 15th, the latest NAVA gathering. Look how the store has bloomed over the past six months!

Sounds like things are going well :)

Man, I can't believe the risk you took quitting a good (?) job to peruse a dream! Awesome! \^_^/

I was wondering, are things (cashflow/customer numbers etc..) going better then you thought? About what you imagined ? or not so hot. The photos show a pretty happening place !! :D

Nope, close. It's the 2-player sequel "Operation Thunderbolt".

Everything is growing. As customers "find us" they invariably spread the word. Plus I've got game stores in a 20 mile radius sending customers my way since we're the only place that buys and sells "the old stuff". I'm continually adjusting my stock to match my regular customers' taste as I learn it, which in turn keeps them coming back.

It's not all roses. I don't have the free time I used to, nor the expendable income. My time and money go right back into the store. This is OK of course, and expected. I'm getting some time off now thanks to my outstanding staff. It's all very promising and growing faster than I expected.

PS Sonic is well taken care of! The photos show Jenn (*Rin*) and Chris (GrandAmChandler) having a bit of a dance with him. He needs to stretch out every once in awhile after extended sits in the storefront window.

Tell CX2K not to fret: I always do my best console repairs, maintenance and mods after knocking back a few drinks. :drinking: .

Just kidding, yo. Store looks great. If I could just convince the wife we need to visit Clifton, NJ one day....

I am, apparently, the only horrible person who wants to know who the pouty 12-year-old in the second picture (and a few others) is.

If it helps, I've spread the word of your store to a guy I know who lives in Clifton and loves video games :P He promises to come check out your store when he gets the chance.

Though knowing your store, I don't think there's much worry of him not being a repeat customer!

LOL, I was wondering the same thing! She had that, "Please get me out of here!" expression; quite amusing.

Glad the store is going good for you. Wish I was in the same boat, so-to-speak - doing something I really like and getting paid for it... maybe someday...

Wow, what a sweet gig. I wish I had known that you had a store in NJ.My wife and I went to a benefit walk in Eddison last October (Had to take the bus from Maine) I would have made sure to check it out and spend some Money. We might be coming back this coming this Oct. if they have the walk again and we can afford to make the trip. How far from Eddison is it? Please let me know.

Don't feel bad; the store opened at the end of November.

Clifton is approximately fifteen miles north of Edison.
