This guy lives 45 minutes from me. Game collecting is not very big in my area. I wonder if he is just a seller who fluked upon this game. Either way I have some competition for items in wild. Ah well. I had it pretty good there.

I bought this originally back in 1999 for $85 and was happy back then... Now I have all 4 SFC DQs Complete - Minus DQ5's manual!

I also bought JPN Wild Arms (9.99), JPN FF: Mystic Quest (9.99), and a Wizardry III Famicom hint book (2.00) from him.

Some summer reading. :) Perhaps not a great price to some, but considering I live very close to this seller (resulting in the shipping only being $11.75), I think it's more than reasonable. Now I have almost all the issues I want except for the very first ones. I'll end up with 20-some duplicate issues (77 or 78 to 103), but that's no problem. I'll compare my old ones with these, pick the better of the two out of each pair, and then sell off the duplicates. I'll make back some of the money I'm spending on this, so even better yet.

Been looking for one of these since 1999! They were all supposed to be donated from Blockbuster to the Children's Miracle Network (which I found out later that they were gutted for the TV and N64). So, any ones that found their way home to shady employees are probably either trashed or kept in a garage or something. Auction says that he can't get it to work, but thanks to the picture of the inside, the only reason it's not working is because it's missing the game cart. SCORE!

That, and I still have a bunch of odds and ends for this thing that I've held onto since 1999 for the day that I actually found one of these. If any of you were Blockbuster employees back in 1999, and you still have any promotional items for this, please let me know.

I thought these were very cool:
Promotional still for Saturday Supercade - Q*Bert (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6104403358&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT)
Promotional still for Saturday Supercade: Space Ace (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6104402782&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT)

These are the 8-by-10 glossy photos that film/tv companies would send out to newspapers to accompany articles on the upcoming film release/television season. The fact that there was any kind of publicity photos made for Saturday Supercade - let alone the fact that they actually SURFACED after 20 years and I now own them - is really, really cool.

Another silver MD cart. Normally wouldnt look at this auction, but on a hunch i did with under an hour to go. yay me :-P

And 2nd game coz ive been on a golf kick lately.... and coz it was cheap and from the same seller. It'll ruin my day if the silver cart is just a stock photo though.

MSR Opel Challenge is supposed to be an unreleased game. The last few have sold for 53, 50, 27, 47 and mine 30 all in GBP. I bid on the the on that ended at 47 GBP and the seller sent me this one as a Second Chance offer. Made my day.

finally glad to have bought them. cheap price too! :D and he did combine shipping, so only $4 per game to canada for shipping. so about $25 CDN for the pair total cost! :P

one thing i didnt like though is no pics, so i asked him for a desription before BIN, he said rr2 had some wear, ng3 was nice, and they both have gray written on the side. but seeing as these 2 were the only 2 of his auctions to not have pics, i still bothered him for pics. we shall see if he emails them to me

Dear god that is crazy. What are you gonna do with all those? =D.

well including the cost of paying my friend to collect them, they work out
at 7.75 pence per game, or total outlay £150 (I bought a seond identical pallet from the same vendor).

I shall throw some carts away, and re use the brand new boxes on my own collection. A box of 24 mint sealed games, will cost me £1.86

It's too daunting to think of them as nearly 2,000 games, and easier to think of them as 80 boxes of games.

I shall try to sell them by the boxload, bit by bit, over the next year, iI might do well in the local auction house, and I can also sell some individual games on eBay during free listing days, and maybe sell some at carboot sales etc etc

Just fancied the challenge of trying to make a profit on them really LOL

I think the screen on that GB is fucked, unless it is some optical illusion due to the camera. But it was definitely worth the $5 just for the cartridges included even if you throw the GB away.

Holy crap!
Looks like it may be....oh well; it's not like I have a shortage of Gameboy's aroud here. I actually did buy it for the games and the cords, because believe it or not, I didn't already have those.

Actually just looks like the game is running Tetris. Don't fret yet!

when it arrived the NES didn't work, a friend had a busted one, I changed out some parts and it looks new, all of the peripherals were still in plastic and had the original ties on the cables and all of the instruction manuals and inserts.

Man, I can't believe I got this so cheap. I've seen this thing go for up to $100 lately. Now all I need is the Winds of War expansion and my Heroes of Might and Magic collection is complete.

RADICAL REX IS MINE!!!!!! HOORAY!!!!! COMPLETE US SEGA CD COLLECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! minus Colors of Modern Rock but who's counting that?

Sorry to sound so excited, but I'm AM very excited. Damn this game is elusive. I also 'needed' the sleeved games. While I have all of them, I didn't have them in the sleeve variations (prize fighter, compton's)

If anyone's interested in the other Sega CD games, even the X'Eye, i'll probably be selling them soon.

I spoke to this guy on the phone. He found this lot in his mom's attic after she passed away. His brother wanted to give it to Goodwill but he thought it would be a better idea to auction it off, I guess he was right. I've yet to receive the stuff yet, as he's having trouble with his paypal account, so this may be a premature announcement, but I'm still pretty excited. Now I only need Baseball, Handball and Fun Zoo for a complete Odyssey Collection.

I havent posted on this board in a while, but I think I am going to start up again. I doubt any of you remember me.

I won these the other day:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8128763713&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

and

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8129066249&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

I am having some problems and I thought I would post them here. I won both of them within minutes of each other, and I paid right after. Today, I recieved the first one (NiGHTS). The other one (the saturn system) I am having problems with. I emailed the guy four times (once per day) asking him to email me to tell me that the received my payment and that my item will be shipped. I have yet to hear a word from him. What should I do?

Thanks a lot!

The funny thing is that it wasn't a BIN. There were no other bidders! Don't know what happened there. x_x
The guy packed everything extremely well and the loose Genesis is new, there's no marks on the cart port whatsoever.

No idea on condition of the stuff, just gambled it. Said everything but some sega cd had cases/manuals....and the sega cd stuff was almost all crap so I didn't care. I will probably resell A LOT of this because I have most of it (3d glasses, systems, most SMS games, some genesis, cd, ect.)

Add two more turbo games to the pile:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8130493377&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

I now have two of the three bonk games. But #3's gonna cost me an arm, a leg and my first born from the looks of it. Guess I should start saving money!
