Just read in the new game magazine that E.B. promotes GMP , that NEC (The maker of that system called the Turbo Grafx :) ) is back. They're going to be software only and their first games is Tube Slider. They didn't mention which system it was for, but I imagine it will be multi-platform.
Hope they make some good ones.... :D

I've read that NEC would one be involved in publishing and not actual developing of games. :hmm: Regardless, heres to hoping that they and Hudson hook up...just for noastalgia's sake ;)

Does anyone know when the last commercial, not that one homebrew Tetris-like game, TG/PC engine game was released? I remember reading Next Gen's report of the Tokyo Game Show back in '95 or '96 and there were a couple of new games shown there.

I think the final PC Engine game was called Dead of the Brain 1 and 2.

I think youre right. Any idea of the last US release? I'm thinking Bonk's Big Adventure, but i maybe off...

IGN.com said Tube Slider was coming out for GameCube only, but I have a feeling it might get trounced by F-Zero in terms of sales.
