After 5 years or so I am finally done with all 706 US released Sega Genesis games. I have all of the games CIB and I also have the homebrew Beggar Prince. So thats 707 CIB Genesis games.

The Genesis library made for my 6th complete library. I need a few boxes and a manual for all six libraries to be CIB. :-\

I have posted some pics of all my CIB libraries.

Here is the link

Now I need to figure out a new big milestone. :P

Congrats! It's a sight to behold CIB.

You may want to change your sig, it still says you need Miracle Piano. :D

Thats awesome, it must feel great to have them all.

Now the question is which one is your favorite game?

Congratulations, Tynstar!

In honor of your newly established success, I've taken the liberty of posting a few images of my fav Genesis games so you can view them and say to yourself, "Hey, I've got that... complete with box AND manual even!" LOL

Quackshot - A Genny platformer starring many of my favorite Ducktales characters.

Powerball - It's violent, colorful and has the potential to incite kids to knock each other senseless with spinning clotheslines.

So, congratulations again, Tynstar on your complete collection! 8-)

Good job. I'm hovering around 114 Genesis games where about 50 are boxed and around 45 are complete, the rest being loose. It's really cool to see someone complete a consules release. Any plans on another system of concentration or are you going to just spend all your time trying to beat every Genesis game?

Good Work Tynstar, thats a HUGE achievement. Now its time to go for the PAL imports.

Great job! Congrats!

Genesis games are what actually made me skimp on the boxes and manuals a bit in the past, as they were quite cheap at Lamestop near the end. I won't buy disc games without them, but I was a slacker on the Genny.

@ cyberfluxor - I am not much of a gamer I mainly collect. I will play games but rarely beat them anymore. Plus I need to finish Sega CD, Saturn and Dreamcast.

@ s1lence - No overseas stuff for me. If I do I will start with SMS and O2 to go with those libraries.

Awesome. Do you have box varients too? I know that Monopoly both came in the cardboard box and in the plastic case (I'm sure there are tons more as well, just using that one as an example).

I think I do for Monopoly but I am not going to collect variants.

I keep my inner "collector" chained up deep inside my psyche. He's the one who would love for every one of my carts to have a box and a manual to go with it. He's the one who'd love to see every system we (he and I) own displayed proudly on a shelf in the box, or even on a shelf ready to play with the box displayed near by. I can not afford his compulsions so I redirect his energies into other possibly less expensive over the short term projects.

The pictures of your collection and now nicely you have it displayed has my inner collector howling with rage and envy. I will have to now to beat him soundly with a two-by-four, which sadly, I think he enjoys, as he's probably also my inner masochist.

Congrats on your milestone. :)

Thanks.

I think of my 2600+ games only about 300 or so are loose. I don't like loose games. I use to not care about loose 2600 games but that has changed. :(

Congrats my man! It seems a lot of people have been completing their huge collections lately, you with GEN, some guy I can't remember with NES and me with SNES, and we all posted about it w/ pride too! Congrats.

How many of the games so far have you "seriously" played? That's my goal now with my SNES collection.

No idea. Seems like some Simon type game. I saw them at a local game store for 20-40. Went on Ebay when I got home and won them for 1 dollar. I havent taken it out of teh box yet.
