View Full Version : Which long-forgotten game would you like to see a sequel to?

I know - but some deserve new sequels.
Especially Zaxxon and Zillion. Super Zaxxon was a pretty good sequel. Motherbase 3k sucked. I knew about Zillion 2, but never played it. So I can't really judge how good or bad it was. But the original was so much fun.
Zillion 2 is a pure (and IMO very bland) action game with levels and such rather than the Metroid-like adventure it once was. It's a shame too since the sequel would have been a great oppurtunity to refine what was going on in the great original game (and maybe add a password system).

I guess the concensus is that Zillion 2 should have been called "A different take on adapting the Zillion anime into a game, and not an actual sequel to the first game".

Last bronx, with the current hardware this would give current 3d fighters a run for their money

last blade or any other 2d Neo Geo fighter, SNK needs to forget 3D and go back to their roots.

I'll second Zaxxon. I've got some pretty specific ideas for a modern day sequel still using the isometric perspective, which you know today's hardware could handle in its sleep.
I don't think Robotron has ever had a truly worthy follow-up. Smash TV was a rehash and while Robotron X was okay, it just didn't do much for me.
