...What happened when I put a 2600 in my MFA studio! :D
Been going to Claremont Graduate School now for a week, and there's gonna be a lot of 'waiting for things to dry' time, so I grabbed one of my spare 2600's, and some fun commons. (R5's and up aren't going, too much risk of getting paint on the labels...)
I timed it.
It took 20 minutes after installing the system and playing to start being called "Atari Boy" by the rest of the staff and students. The siren call of Ms. Pac-Man was too strong to ignore. While one of my teachers has *STRONGLY* advised me against making the playing a habit, he did inform me that one of his own installations used C64s for sound generation and sequence timing. I told him I'd hook 'em up if he ever needed a source. :wink 2: A coffee maker, an art studio, and some Classic gaming. Dude, I am so set for the next 2 years. :P
