33 here + 3 Famicom games. That's all I really need.

...come to think of it, it might actually be a few more than I really need.

I havent made a good count in a while, but id say 150, and 4 or 5 unlicensed games.

A few multiples(a few Mario 3s and yoshis and first Turtles game.)

Figured I'd post some more totals:

1 complete (Vice: Project Doom)
3 boxed (The Battle of Olympus, Yoshi's Cookie, and Super Cars, which has a photocopied manual)
13 with manuals (Dragon Spirit, Gotcha!, The Immortal, Kid Niki, Legacy of the Wizard, MagMax, Mystery Quest, NARC, Sky Shark, Super Dodge Ball, Tiny Toon Adventures, World Games, Wrecking Crew)

I don't buy complete and boxed games that often since they're a bit tougher to find in the wild than loose carts.

I have 642 NES games right now and while I would like to complete the collection someday I probably never will because I won't shell out the money to get the expensive games. I don't think I have paid more than $5 for a single game in my NES collection.

I have 235.
7 are unlicensed.
34 are boxed.
Of the 34, 27 are are complete with manual.

My RFG list shows me as wanting 36 still.

I have no plans to pick up the entire NES liabrary though as many of the sports titles, heck, atleast half of it holds no interest to me. the unlicensed stuff most of all.

I have around 700+ games, plus 50 PAL, Sachen, and repro's. I really like some of the PAL exclusives like Hammerin' Harry, Mr. Gimmick, Rodland, Devil World.
I am really close to finishing it but I refuse to buy stinkers like Elway and some of the other horrible games. I do own the rarer crappy games like Action 52 for collection purposes.
The last 5-10 or so games I am going to buy are:
Caltron 6 in 1
Flintstones 2
Gaiapolis
Great Wall, The
Huge Insect
Trolls in Crazy Land (PAL)
After these, I am finished.

I have a US liscensed set. I am missing The three Panesian games. I dont collect the Sachen games. I probably never will own a NWC cart. I have some multicarts, homebrew, and some fun pirate carts, so I guess I have about 800 carts, not counting doubles.

I got around 510, about 40 of them complete. I wanted them all, but I honestly have everything I want to play and more. Now I am more interested in discovering consoles I didn't grow up with, as that is rather refreshing. Maybe someday I will finish my collection, when I have the time to hunt - just so busy now-a-days. I had a caltron but I sold it to finance a mini-vacation deal - big mistake of mine. But I have still have my Mr. Gimmick.

I want to get the rest of the games Sunsoft published, there my people.

I'm somewhere in the 250 range, no interest in getting a complete collection. I just want a few more carts like an Action 52 and the rest of the Mega Man carts I don't have.

I generally find NES games in large clumps at a time, like 5-15+ all at once. It doesn't happen too often though so the rate at which I gain games for the system really turns out to be not that quick. I'm hovering around 115 games with only 2 of them CIB. So, there's just so many of them out there I don't think I'll achive a complete collection especially a CIB collection. It would be nice however to at least get a good chunk of the great titles it has under my belt and ready to be played.

Updating on mine, I'm at:
1 Sealed
9 CIB
153 Loose (11 unlicensed)

Not much progress for nearly 2 years in the NES realm. I've just become so unattracted to loose carts and boxed games are rough comming across that are priced well to what I'm willing to pay. If it's a duplicate and I can sell off the loose cart to make up for a CIB I'm more than willing to do that. :)

In my actual set (licensed + unlicensed), I'm looking at about 560, of which at least 180 are boxed and 280 or so are with manuals (about 150 complete). Counting duplicates (160-180), variants (50-75), pirates (8?), homebrews (5?), repros (7?), PAL/other foreign releases (~25), etc., I'm standing close to 875 or so.

Came in the past week:

Glider Special Edition (1 of 10)
Flintstones: The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak (3 copies, 1 boxed; all Brazilian Playtronic release)
Dynacom Multi-Ação 6-in-1 (3 copies, 1 boxed)
Bomberman II (boxed; Brazilian Playtronic release)
F-15 City War (boxed; Brazilian Milmar release)
Venice Beach Volleyball (boxed; Brazilian Milmar release)

Pending in:

Garage Cart (homebrew, #10/24)
Gold Limited Edition Sudoku (homebrew, #5/10)
Glider regular edition (homebrew)
Section Z CIB + map

Rares I'm still needing:

SE box + manual (already have the cart)
Myriad CIB
Caltron box + manual (x2), + 1 sleeve (already have two different Caltron carts)
All 3 Panesians CIB
Flintstones: Surprise at Dinosaur Peak box + manual (already have the cart)

I own 12 Kid Fenrises.

I am apparently a meme and therefore own all the Internet.

Plus two copies of The Guardian Legend because one's label got all ripped.

I had close to 200 when I sold them all off 10-11 years or so ago. I still regret it to this day. I'm going to try and rebuild my collection once I get some money together.

According to my outdated list I have about 160 unique NES games, with another 30 or so dupes that I am trying to trade (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114377) for other games. I got my first NES in 1991 so I don't have the same nostalgia ties a lot of other collectors do. I wouldn't call myself an NES collector -- I don't really go out of my way to find or collect NES games. I set a rule when I started that I would only pay $5 per game, including shipping if I buy online. I've made a couple of lot purchases from SimplyDave (I believe) that worked out to be under that price goal. The rest of my games came from garage sales and thrift stores. Truth be known, I do most of my NES gaming on the Xbox and PC; my NES carts are, for the most part, just something to display, and I can't fathom spending more than $5 for a game (unless it was to immediately resell).

EDIT: I think I have about 10 unlicensed carts, and about 5 boxed games. When I get boxed games I take the carts out and put them with the rest of the collection and the boxes sit on another shelf. I know I have boxes for Win, Lose or Draw, Star Trek, Toobin', and a couple others.

Not counting homebrews, test carts, and prototypes, I have just under 550 with another 30 or so in the mail. I'm going for a full licensed NTSC set and then I'll probably move onto unlicensed.

I have 47 NES games not counting duplicates.

And where did that guy go that wants to dump all his NES games for 2 a piece, hehehe

As for getting them all, uh, probably not.

I have been buying games in nothing but lots lately (cept for a few amazon deals here and there), so I just buy games as they come. I haven't got too many nes games lately, I think I got about 10-20 in the past couple months

106, 6 of them being unlicensed/homebrew, 1 is complete (Megaman 6). All others are loose.

Uh, I have three.

Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles
Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers

Oddly enough NES games seem to be the hardest games for me to find, whereas I constantly come across insanely overpriced PS1 games.

Help a brother get a decent SCN/EUR/PAL NES collection? :D

Money troubles and life really crippled my collection. I am however I'm the middle of rebuilding since we aren't in as much trouble anymore.

I have 38 NES games but before I was forced to get rid of a big chunk of my games I was sitting at roughly 150 maybe more.

I do not plan on getting everything, but there is still a lot I want.

I'm the small guy in this topic: 130 games.

Buy it all? Heck, I might sell it all. :P
Just kinda lost my interest in the system along the way. Meant to pick up a toaster for easy 99% use, but have yet to.

Originally posted Sep. 10, 2006. And of course, I meant Top Loader, lol.

Well, I'm glad I never sold it, as I've recently regained my interest to revisit this old gem. Really, my first childhood gaming love circa '86/'87. I have about 140 games now, tacking on some games I meant to buy 2 years ago, but never got around to doing so until recently (i.e. Boy and His Blob, etc.) Also purchased a Top Loader for easy casual access. I'm not about to be bothered to replace the 72 pins or whatever. And God Bless those of you who do that. I'm much more on casual terms with the system. I'll sacrifice some visual with the TL if it means having easier access

I'm around 170, no dupes, quite a few unlicensed. I highly doubt I'll go for a whole set. I just pick up whatever looks cool (i.e. CHEAP) or games I loved as a kid. When I started I thought I'd be done by now, but I'm guessing around 300-350 I'll be satisfied (though it will probably change when I get there). I can't justify paying hundreds for an old game.

Up around 750 or so I guess. Too many to count. Those include my 60 or so Brazillian bootlegs and many multicarts; but no dupes.

Working on a complete (US) in box set. Would like to get a complete sealed collection... but I only have about 40 of those haha

192 games so far. I keep downsizing and acquiring, at my highest it was around 320- including pirates and unlicensed. Yes, I do "plan to get it all" as this thread inquires. Both the NES collection and the Pokemon will ALL be mine.

I've only got 33 NES games, despite it being my first system. I really really want about 4-5 particular games, and have a general interest in acquiring about 10-15 other titles, including a couple homebrew/unlicensed.

I want them all. I have like 250 or so now.
