R-Zone XPG help?

(ok, I probably need help for buying one of these in the first place!)
Just picked up a cheap one of these and I can't seem to figure it out. The unit works fine but I assume there must be some way of extending the screen out a bit as you can't see the whole image just by tilting the screen back. I've pushed and prodded in a few places but I don't want to damage the thing so am I going wrong somewhere? The bit on the back looks like it should move but I can't work out how. :embarrassed:

If you set the XPG on a flat surface you pull the screen out parallel with the surface. The Side of the screen has a little arrow and the word 'pull' next to it, though it's not that obvious which direction to pull. It comes out maybe 2", which is good, keeps the screen brighter...
