L & R buttons don't respond, but I can feel them clicking.
I took apart the SP and removed a little dust but didn't see anything else wrong. The mounts that the button switches are sitting on feel solid. (not broken or bendable) and trying to press the switch without the plastic button in place didn't work. so it seems like something is invisibly fried.
so far looks like a fluke because i couldn't find the problem reported by anyone else by searching here or on google.
fortunately i hope to have a ds in a couple months which i can play gba on and keep this for original gameboy playing.
