2 sets of Gamecube Component cables, $9.70 after discounts.
They are up for sale or trade.
HOLY S&%$
I called over 100 EBs and gamestops to try to find just one of those cables andthe best result I got was the manager of one of them buying one.
Oh well there isn't any point in buying them unless they're the price you paid since the Nintendo Wii will do just what those cables do. And more.
Anyway... My finds...
Odyssey 2 with Voice Module and about 15 games, All with boxes and manuals. The cost? Free!

Traded in my Hot Rod Red DS for $48 @ Gamestop ($28 + instant $20 trade-in credit deal) and got a Black DS Lite.
Why give those bastards a hard to find DS model for so little? I understand wanting the black lite model, but I would have either kept your hot rod red or tried to sell it on here or Ebay. I just hate their pennies on the dollar trade-in values. They'll sell your red DS for slightly less than brand new retail. I fully understand business models and making a profit, but what they're doing is nothing short of larceny.
BTW, my anger is wholly directed at EB/Gameslop, not you.

Got this with 11 games for $225.00. I usually don't spend that much but I have really wanted on for a while. The box is beat up but it's there with matching serial number. All of the game had boxes and overlays but no instructions.
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r281/stevenhowearth/DSCF0003.jpg
Vampire Hunter D PS1 $3.00, Batman & Robin and Bart Simpson GG both for $5.00, and the 3 CIB Virtural Boy game $10.00.
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r281/stevenhowearth/DSCF0004.jpg
Brand new Dreamcast yellow controller $3.00, Power Glover game $2.00, and Tomba and Animaniacs $12.00 for both. Tomba was a rental disc but not in too bad of shape. The guy had about 30 of the Dreamcast controllers but I have so many but not yellow.
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r281/stevenhowearth/DSCF0005.jpg
All the Sega Master stuff including 3-D glasses and games $15.00 and the CIB B-17 $2.00.
This was from 2 weeks ago. I will try and catch up this week with the other stuff frome the wild.

Picked up an SNES, 5 controllers and 29 games for $40. Many valuable games in the lot like, Mario RPG, Super Metroid, Ninja Warriors and a few others. When I got home I noticed that I had also picked up a pretty sweet copy of Chavez II in the lot. If DP is correct in thinking that it was only released in the South Western U.S., I wonder how it go to the Boston area. Never thought I'd find that guy in the wild.

This isn't one of those I got such a great deal and robbed a guy blind finds. Just something I feel I got a good deal on. I picked up a boxed, complete Sega CDX. I think the only thing missing is the warranty card. I picked it up froma co-worker for $70, which while not a steal is a good price.

They also had a sealed sims 2 expansion pack for 4.00
Hid it. Tomorrow i'll buy for my little sis. :)

Waiting on this vendor to come back(musta been taking a dump)..I'm squatting over a pile of ps games...
The vendor was taking really long and people were coming and going, wanting to buy things but leaving after the wait,
Old lady walks up,looks through things, asks where the vendor is... and reaches under my legs(I thought she was going to grab my.....) and grabs the PS game pile..I say to her I'm waiting on the vendor to buy the games she's now grabbing from under me..
She turns around and says no,I want them, they are mine with an attitude.....Puts the stack of games in a pile that she's making..(my mouth has dropped)...She starts looking around more in the stuff and the vendor walks up(damn it!! the guy I hate/the worst attitude high price vendor there)..I ask how much for the PS games...He says $5.00 each..I grab RE3 and Star Wars out of the pile and leave her the rest/Metal Gear Solid,Twisted Metal.....
I must of waited over 15 minutes for him to get back...F that I wasn't leaving these two games that I mainly wanted.

A MINT, apparently CIB, copy of NeoGeo Cup '98 Plus Color for the NGPC. $3. Don't NGPC games come with a cardboard box? Well, that's the only thing missing. The manual is in great shape with one tear across the front, and the cart seems to have been used about three times. Did I mention this is an EUROPEAN VERSION? How the bloody hell do I keep finding this weird crap down here?! LOL

Really? I always thought all versions had a clamshell. Anyway, I was also wondering about that because the box doesn't have any UPC/ISBN codes on it. So it's a bit confusing.

All the US games came in cardboard cases (just like GB/GBC/GBA games) except VERY VERY VERY early Bust-A-Move Pockets, those also have a clamshell version. The tipoff for a US game is the ESRB rating that NeoCup doesn't have, along with the fact that there is that little rainbow line on the top right portion of the label, thats a quick way to denote that its a 'UK' version. You can also tell by the NEOP number found on the spine and on the cart itself, but thats just overkill in this instance ;)

The PS2 DVD remote for earlier model PS2's needed drivers to function which wern't part of the PS2's OS at the time. The drivers were on that DVD which were then saved onto your memory card letting you use the remote.

Picked up a couple things today. At a rummage sale, I got a Pelican brand steering wheel for the PS for $2 and at Wal Mart I picked up the Sega "game in a controller" version of Street Fighter II on clearance for $5. I had been watching it since it was up at $18 and I figured this would be as low as it would go since they just dumped their WWF games that were down to $2.

PS2 DVD manual, "DVD Player version 2.10" disc (what is this?)
DVD Player driver updated that came with the official Sony PS2 DVD remote. Basically it updated the DVD driver to version 2.10 by installing it to a memory card. Then if you'd boot your PS2 with that memory card inserted it would use the updated driver. Model number 30001R had the 2.10 drivers installed but if you had a launch PS2 with it's glitchy DVD playback, this disc was a godsend.
...and I see PapaStu already answered. LOL Oh well, here it is again. :)

Do you live in Southern California by any chance? I remember having someone call me asking about them a while back, and my response was about how I bought them from a customer for my Gamecube for like $10-20.
I was using a long distance card to call all these stores. I live on the east coast, But I did call some stores in San Francisco and I may have called a couple in Los Angeles.
I wanted the cables badly. I used up about $7 in long distance calls.
Anyway, My golden find for today is..

On eBay I couldn't pass up a BIN...
Saturn:
Bubble Bobble also featuring Rainbow Islands (C $9 shipped)
Then at a game store up the road:
Virtual Boy:
Vertical Force (C) Traded in a Saturn w/out power cord.
DVD:
Dragonball Piccolo Vol. 2 (C) $3 after store credit that came from somewhere... Apparently it's been on his records. LOL
I've been wanting that Saturn game for quite some time now but it appears to have always been bundled with either outragously bidded on games or as high BINs.

I saw that copy of Ikaruga at EB for 19.99 new, but not sealed, so I had to have it, even though I already have one. Exile was off ebay, I like the artwork a lot better than the US Turbo cover. Shining the Holy Ark came from a flea market for 10 bucks. I had to replace the case, as it was torn to hell and back. The 7th saga I got at Game xchange yesterday for 19.99. They also had a copy of Shenmue for 14.99, but I'll wait, I've seen it lower.

FIVE BUCKS. The seller didn't want to give it to me because the main system and pads were missing but I offered her the five bucks and there you go. The cables have never been used, and every single manual and insert is MINT and unread, which makes me think someone beat me to the things and took the deck and pad out of the box before I got to it. Also, the foam thing is slightly cracked in a spot. :( I'll probably eBay it tomorrow, unless someone wants to offer me something. *hint* :P

I'm finally getting to posting everything I found over the last month. First, there was the Toys R Us sale on games priced at $19.99: Buy 2 get 1 Free. Maximo and Baten Kaitos were each around $10 and were separate purchases. If I had more money I would of bought more.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v156/SonicGT/924web.jpg
Next, I found a new independent game store, and they had eight copies of this:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v156/SonicGT/926web.jpg
Then, I went over to Sears and picked up a non-GH Sly 3 for GH price, Polarium for $8 and F-Zero GP for $6 (cheapest I've seen it).
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v156/SonicGT/1021web.jpg
Finally, my school had their annual rummage sale this weekend, and I found this bundle for $15. I find it quite odd that the pack-in game, Sonic 2, was nowhere in sight, yet Ecco the Dolphin and Lion King were sitting in its place inside the box. Also, the duct tape label said the bundle had only 7 games, so they must have never opened the box. Sadly, I ripped off Sonic's head when taking off that tape :( .

Oh, and thanks to this I won't be buying any games for a while:

Was pretty lucky today. $5.00 for all those magazines at the flea market. 2003 to 2006 mags, including ones on stands at the moment. Gamepro, Nintendo Power, GMR, and MAD. Fool cut the address labels off of the gaming mags, but I'm ok with that for my personal entertainment. I honestly don't think I really enjoy MAD magzine (I've not really read those since the early 80s) and I'll probably sell them off on ebay.
At the thrift shop, I got Dreamcast Evolution for $2.99, which seemed like a good deal, but perhaps it was not as I already owned one and I see they don't fetch much on ebay. *BOO*
But what was good, was my new baby to my gaming console family, a sweet TG-16 bought for only $9.99! The TG was a big surprise for me as I never had one of these before. But, I did not notice the TG-16 at first as the shop is so messy and everything tossed about. This was the same case as when I was there a few months ago and found several boxed intellivision games scattered around the store.
Anyway, I went to the electronics area and started thumbing though many piles of scattered CDs. I found the Bonk's Revenge and was so excited, but much to my dismay, there was no game inside. That pissed me off to no end, as why would anyone rip off a game for a vintage system that no else one has. Then I went looking though more piles of CDs which was scattered around. I found the Bomberman first and then that shooter game right next to it. Both with games inside! I got pretty excited. Perhaps it was a collection that someone donated and the system was in the mess somewhere?
So, then I looked on a lower shelf and found the TG-16 system tossed on top of some trash kitchen electronic thing! YAY! Came with two joypads, a multi-tap, but no power cord. ARRRG!
I went looking around for the cord, but no luck. I then went to the other side of the isle to the huge wall of craptronics, determined to find my babies power cord. And looking I had done at each piece of 80s and 90s trashed electronic, inspecting each cord to see if it was the right one. Then I found the three buckets-o-cords and right there on the top of the second bucket there it was shining like a diamond on top of a pile of poop. I was so relieved and glomped it in girly glee (REALLY!).
But that was not the end...the last thing I had to do was to find the missing Bonk's Game, as I was not about to give up on it, as I found it illogical for someone to steal something pretty "worthless" like that. After moving several trashy and unwatchible kiddy VHS's (which seem to populate every garage sale as well as thrifty out there) I found the loose game under a VHS tape. *JOYNESS*
Also today, I found several rare music CDs (a couple worth in the $30.00 range) which I'll resell, but I know this is not the place to really brag about those. Just mentioning it as I had a great overall collectors day at the CD show, Thrift Shop and Flea Market, which will probably end up costing me nothing after I sell off the rare cds. Thanks for reading and I hope for luck in your shopping as well!

All new for the Xbox 360:
Black Faceplate - £5
VGA Cable - £14.39
Just Cause - £27
Quick Charge kit - £15
The last three all came in the post from different websites today, at the same time. The faceplate came last week. It's good fun opening three different packages in one go.
I'm still waiting for my new PC monitor to be sent off by Amazon. It's been two weeks now, so it should be sent off some time this week. I don't want to cancel my order as it's £20 cheaper than everywhere else.
