These finds span the last few weeks, i appologise for the photoage!!! Ive been very busy recently and havent had much time to post... Been to see The Goo Goo Dolls, Misfits, All American Rejects and Motion City Soundtrack this week! Ontop of that i started back at Art College so ive been busy non stop! Thank god for sunday!

Been a few weeks since I've last visited a flea market, but here I am today, very happy. First up are my sparse buys from the past two weeks from various stores:

- Capcom vs. SNK 2, Guilty Gear X, and KoF 2002/2003 were each bought at different EB stores, at $19.99 each new. The EB I got GGX from still had three more sealed copies Surprised. I found that strange seeing as how this game came out quite a few years ago and that the series has quite the cult following. Capcom vs. SNK 2 was new, and was a funny buy when the clerk started pushing the used copies. He stopped halfway through his sentence when he saw that the used copies go for $10 more. I saw him make a big WTF face, funny stuff Smile.

- Nightshade and Rygar were $7.19 each from Game Crazy.

- R-Type III was a must buy despite being $6.99 at a local Game Craze. I'm a big shmup fan.

Today I stopped at the Syracuse Regional Flea Market and was pleasently introduced to some worthy additions to my collection:

- Super Nova, Uncharted Waters: New Horizon Big Smile, Battle Blaze, and Super Turrican (with unremovable paint... I needed a filler pick) for $10.

All I missed out on that I wanted was a clean Super Double Dragon at a different vendor. Another guy picked it up after I moved over to the next box. No biggie since I already have the game, I was just on the look out for one to replace my slightly label damaged copy.

$2.50 each! I've FINALLY completed the Dark Tower series! Woo!

I also bought a Performance Dreamcast memory card for $1. It didn't have a cap, though. But, at another vendor (where I got Duck Tales 2 a few weeks back), the guy had a ton of Sega sports games, a few Atari games, and some Dreamcast stuff. He also had a Performance Memory Card box, without memory cards... but with tops. So I asked him how much he wanted for a top.

He said, "A dollar." A few seconds later, he started laughing, and asked me about the box. I told him, I bought a memory card but it had no tops,and your box had no memory cards... so he let me have the box and the tops for free. I think both him and his wife have started to recognize me as a regular customer, and they've started to take a liking to me. That left me with in very good mood for most of the day.

I hope to find more good stuff tomorrow. :D

I've been interested in the Dig Dug games for awhile so it was a build-up process to buy it. As for Wild Arms, I already own 1, 2, and 4 so why not grab 3? Seems fair to me. :)

Although the box is smashed up to hell, as the seller put all the 8 games inside the box and used some tape to hold the box together :-( And the Mega Drive was dusty as hell...
Still, everything is working and'll probably go to EBay...

On the way home from that purchase I stopped over at the Salvation Army and found a model 1 Genesis, and model 2 Genesis, Sega CD add on and platform, bunch of loose and half complete Genny games.

Not too shabby for 30 bucks in total!

I found myself a copy of Swordquest: Waterworld for $15 at a local flea market this weekend. Usually this dealer's games are way overpriced, but they don't really know what they have. $15 for a Waterworld ain't something you come across every day. So far it has been my rarest find ever in the wild (R7). Finally some luck

As i offload all my spare consoles picked up for pennies at the boot sales to Gamestation on a weekly basis, i always have a trade/credit voucher at the ready... I think its been a good 5 months since theyve seen any cash come out of my wallet!
So i picked up the two boxed SNES games at £2.50 each (In the £4.99 Retro Buy One Get One Free) I already had them unboxed, so ill keep them boxed and resell the spare loose carts :)
Resi Evil is for my eBay shop, tiny profit.
The Need For Speed Demo was free :)
And last but not least, finally found Yoshi's Safari, £4.99 :)

So I got up early today, packed up the stuff I was supposed to send, left around 8, and got to the flea market around 9. I looked around and saw nothing of interest at first, then I went to the middle and found this:

That McAfee thing is pretty worthless but it was only three bucks so nyah. Those DC games? Well, House of the Dead cost me $1, and the Tony Hawk game doesn't have a disc so I got the thing for fifty cents. I'll pick up the disc later. (*hint hint*

I'm kinda ticked off because some guy beat me to the place by three minutes, and he walked away with freakin Marvel Vs Capcom and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing for a buck each. DAMNIT.

So a bit later I keep looking around and find nothing, as just as I am about to leave... I noticed a double jewel case on a barrel in the place I buy PC games at. So I walk towards it and see the name "Final Fantasy"... I get to it and what is it?

It cost me $6. It was going to cost me $4 but the seller noticed it was three CDs so she upped the price. I hung around for a little bit in case anything else popped up but no luck... so I left, and went to GameStop, where I bought these three DVDs for $10 (and NFL2K for 49 cents :P)

The NFL2K is a wrong version, though. The case is for an original version, but the one inside the case is a Sega All-Stars version. I may go back there on thursday and ask for a replacement. YES, a stupid disc ticks me off. It's the wrong one, dammit. :P

The nes was 49.99 at replays. Works perfectly, all inserts, all plastic, all manuals, and its even got the original price tag of $99.99 from Kmart.

I finally got boxes for some of my NES games, they were $2 each, but I'm missing the inserts for punch out, the manual to Megaman 2 and Guardian Legend, but inside the Guardian legend box was all the posters, inserts, and the plastic to cover the cart.

Finally got Splatterhouse 3 complete, and Shining force II and Beyond Oasis I won in a lot of ebay. The total was 35.50 for both.

All the Dreamcast stuff I bought off a classmate, he only wanted $20 for everything......

The Phantasy Star II I've wanted for years.....

And the Month is still young! I gotta say, for a college student on a limited budget, this is pretty good.

Street Fighter 2 Special Champion Edition...for Free! I went to go pick up my Mega Man X4 from the Special FX, since they repair disc for $3 a pop. A kid was trading in some Genesis games and they were mostly sports titles. After the guy at FX told him he wasn't gonna get much for it, I saw he had Street Fighter 2, so I asked him, "Hey how much you want for that?" and the guy looks at me and goes "Here, since it's pretty much worth shit!", hands me the game, and he storms out all pissed off at the clerk :lol:

Went out to the flea market today, nothing much honestly. Bought another Power Joy III bootleg Famicom controller and again this one doesn't work. That makes four I've went through. I told my girlfriend to quit letting me buy this crap. LOL Did find a couple things though, new small slide container storage (15 trays) for my controller parts inventory, Pac-Man for the Atari Computer family and a Pioneer LaserActive control pad... :)

Stuff to pick up a NES game Josh changed his mind on: Dragon Spirit: The New Legend. Plus the Half Life Game of the Year edition I tried to get was gone, since the Half Life 2 I bought yesterday had HL1 manual in it. I thought I could buy the HL1 and switch manuals and keep them both but nooooo.

Swung to Target to get the other MMORPGs on clearance. The Station Pass was gone but I picked up Dungeons and Dragons: Stormreach. Gonna keep it sealed (along with Auto Assault) until I actually play the 7/14 day trials for free. Gotta have options if I hate the games in trials!

Picked up a Bug Too! for the Saturn, it's disc only but at least it's a flawless surface. Also grabbed a Playstation Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha but it has a whole bunch of light scuffs on the data portion. It should be able to play and just needs resurfacing and chances are I'll give it to a friend.

There was a store near me that had a NES top loader for $50, so yesterday, I went there and traded in some stuff I figured I'd never play again, and got $35 in credit, paying only $15 in cash. It came with an original NES controller instead of a dogbone, but no big deal.

Now I can play NES games without having to mess around with my toaster trying to get it to play. I was thinking about either refurbishing or replacing the pin connector, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to own a top loader. :D

Great day today.

Went to Kmart where they are getting rid of a bunch of games for cheap. I got 12 games for $22 and then traded them into Gamestop for $67 in credit. Got the dvds and Tales of Legendia, then put $22 on Tales of the Abyss. Lumines was from a trade on here.

The wristband, headset and shirt were free, freebies from the managers conference.

Good pick up on the SamSho III for PS1. It's a bit on the rare side, but it serves more as a collectors piece then an enjoyable game. The port is kind of... meh. Loading times are tollerable, but the SEVERE cuts in animation frames is very disappointing. The charactes are very choppy in their movements.
