So far this month, I have found:
-Wizard Works Fun Pack: 7 Action Packed Arcade Games (consisting of cheap arcade clones) for Windows PC @ $2.99 in Goodwill
-Medal of Honor Frontline for Gamecube: like new for $4 in a second hand shop
-At the town dump in the giveaway bin, I found Driver (disc and back insert), Gran Turismo (complete) and NCAA Final Four 2000 (complete) for Playstation 1. All of them in good/playing condition.
-Twisted Edge and Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey (both the original and 98') for N64 at second hand shops for around $3 each, all three titles were loose.
Nothing notable but it is a start. I hope things pick up as the month goes along.

I went back out today and, not game related, picked up two things.
For one, I've had a Hong Kong bootleg of Love Hina on DVD for a few years (Thanks eBay!) and finally got rid of it after enjoying it a few times and with the cash back I went ahead and purchased the licensed US boxed collection for $44.95. Of course though I had $12 from the bootleg (no suprise there) and $6 from Maximo (which I though was the first one, but ended up being the sequal that I already owned) so it came to $28 and some change. Very nice in deed.
Secondly at Barns & Nobles I also finally grabbed the Trigun manga book volume 2. I've been walking by it for over a year now and have had the vol. 1 for however long. I did see they are up to vol. 10 on the Maximum series of Trigun so I need to at some point begin picking up vols. 4-10 (since I have 1-3 already).

I got this Dreamcast lot (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150065600865) in the mail today.
Contents:
D2 (Dreamcast) complete, discs a bit scratched
Blue Stinger (Dreamcast) complete, disc a bit scratched
NHL2K (Dreamcast) complete
NFL2K1 (Dreamcast) in loose sleeve -the game is scratched to hell but who cares, it's not worth more than fifty cents :P
I can finally sell off my incomplete copy of D2 and hopefully make a profit out of it. Woohoo.

All I got today was Command & Conquer Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge (which I already had... dammit, I forgot!) and some random SMS games. I found a couple of good CD only games but the seller wanted $3 for each so I told him to screw himself. They're trying to bleed us buyers DRY because of the holidays.

Rainy Day Flea Market,,I made it there right before the rain came down hard.
..Around 6-10 vendors of misc items....It was kinda sad looking,I don't even know why they bother.
Friend of mine vendor there had:
GC controller with an extension, all the wires etc,Genny joystick..on the right side of the picture for $5.00
I don't usually buy Playstation decks:
..I looked at it and it's a dual shock version,I was going to pass..But I decided to look in the bag underneath it and it had all the stuff on that side of the picture in the bag.
..The vendor wanted $25.00..I offered him $20.00 and he took it.

I went to ebgames yesterday to look for Dreamcast games only to leave disappointed. It's been awhile since I've gone to one, but I didn't know that they pulled all their DC, PS1, and N64 games.
Anyway, I went over to my local independently run shop, Game Traders Club, to see what I could turn up. Couldn't see any DC games, so I asked if there were any in the back. He brought out 7 games, all complete and for $3 a piece, so I snatched 'em all. They included: Pen Pen Tricelon, Shenmue, Space Channel 5, Sega Smash Pack, Tennis 2K2, Jet Grind Radio, Chu Chu Rocket. I also bought a complete copy of Metal Gear Solid for PS1 there for $5
Last week, a 3DO game came in the mail. I got Street fighter 2 Turbo with case and box, but no manual. The game also came with 2 Capcom 6 button controllers. I paid $60, shipping included in that price.
I have a couple things on the way but won't post 'em till they come in the mail.

Walked into a few places today and found some things I've been looking out for finally!
NES:
Qix ($5)
Mighty Bomb Jack ($4)
Pipe Dreams ($4)
Captain Comic ($4/free - Buy 3 get 1 free) Blue variant

Battle Unit Zeoth
Metroid II
Final Fantasy Legends

Yeah, I spent a few bucks more than usual on NES titles but for their rarities and my waiting for them to come along it sure took a bit. I'm going to be thrilled the day I find Kings Quest 5 for the NES. :)

Sexy Parodius JP PSX with spine card.
Twinkle Star Sprites JP Neo-Geo CD without spine card.
League Bowling JP Neo-Geo CD without spine card.
Real Bout Fatal Fury Special JP Neo-Geo CD without spine card.
Philosoma US PSX complete.
Strikers 1945 JP PSX without spine card.
Total: Around $167 shipped.
Sexy Parodius and Twinkle Star Sprites costing me an arm and an leg. League Bowling and Real Bout I got from a trade, and both Philosoma and Strikers 1945 I got from ebay for a good price. Sexy Parodius is just funny to play, Twinkle Star Sprites is great on 2 Players. League Bowling is fun and easy, Real Bout might have long loading times, but it's worth it. Philosoma for getting it cheap is really great for a shmup. Strikers 1945 on the PSX is actually a great port of the arcade game. While the Saturn port was a little better than the PSX port, the PSX port can stand on its own two feet. The only odd part is that Strikers 1945 II plays horrible on the Saturn, but plays a lot better on the PSX.

I didn't get anything too special but at a GameStop they said there was a B2G1F going on so...
PS2:
Rune ($5)
Alter Echo ($5)
Goblin Commander - Inleash the Horde ($8)
You can choose which of the $5 games was free. I've played Rune on the PC and found it amusing but a bit difficult to get others to connect over LAN so the multi-player on it will be sweet. Was told by a friend Alter Echo was fun but short although worth the few bucks so I went ahead with it. And of course Goblin Commander is supposed to be real cool and actually nice for a consule RTS. Been wanting it for awhile (and wanted it more so for the GC, but hey, whatever) so picked it up as well.
Oh, and I keep forgetting to list other things... Like yesterday, I also picked up:
Genesis:
Sword of Vermilion (C - $5)
SNES:

Yesterday at the flea market (Big D, Dalton, Georgia)...
2 NESs w/hookups, 1 controller each, NES Advantage controller, cleaning kit, and 5 common games; 2 N64s w/hookups, 1 controller total; 1 PlayStation w/hookups and a 3rd-party controller; 1 common SNES sports title: $35 for the lot.
4-port Atari 5200 w/hookups, 1 controller, and 6 games; Conquest of the World (Odyssey 2) cart-only; Dragon Warrior (NES) complete; Dragon Warrior II (NES) complete; Dr. Mario 64 (N64) cart-only; Galaxian tabletop: $35
Yesterday at another flea market (Fleas Unlimited, Sweetwater, Tennessee):
2004 Canadian $20 bill; 3 British £2 coins (2 dated 1998, 1 dated 2000); 1970 Swiss 2-franc coin; 2002 Italian €.50 coin: $25
----
A side note, regarding the aforementioned Fleas Unlimited flea market and East Ridge Flea Market (Chattanooga, Tennessee): There's a company set up at both of them called Packard's. If you find yourself there looking for video games, odds are pretty decent they have it, but their prices, for the most part, are absolutely terrible. Some examples:
Suikoden 1 (PS1): $100
Arc the Lad Collection (PS1): $80
Top-loader NES (w/hookups and dogbone): $150
Neo-Fami (w/hookups and controller): $40-$60
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (PS2): $100
Aliens vs. Predator: Extinction (Xbox): $45
Breath of Fire 3 (PS1): $50
Legend of Mana (PS1): $70
PS3 60-GB version (new): $1200
Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt (NES; cart-only): $8
Final Fantasy 2 (SNES; cart-only): $50
Final Fantasy 3 (SNES; cart-only): $50
Secret of Mana (SNES; cart-only): $60
Combat (Atari 2600; cart-only): $4
In their defense, I did see a copy of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance (PS2) at the East Ridge location for $18...though it was about the only true deal they had. The rest of their stuff was tremendously overpriced.

Well, I finally got Crash Twinsanity for the Xbox today. I had ordered it back on December 2nd from an Amazon Marketplace seller. And it's no wonder I didn't get it until now. The guy didn't even mail it until 2 days ago! He takes my money and waits 2 weeks to mail it? What's up withn that? Of course, I don't know the explanation...perhaps he was out of town or something. I guess I shouldn't complain without knowing the facts. I did get it for just $8 or so and, though used, it looks to be in excellent condition.
Here's something odd, though. It came with two instruction manuals. One is in English...the other is either Spanish or French, I'm not really sure.

If its French that would mean that its the Canadian version since "all" games here come with english and french manuals.

Yesterday at the flea market (Big D, Dalton, Georgia)...
Hahaha, dude, is the Dalton flea market this huge vacant lot where people park, and there's a building with booths inside? And some outside booths are covered with a roof-thing? If that's the one you went to, then I went there last June when I was visiting my sisters in Tennessee! I found nothing of interest there, sadly, other than a bunch of classic comics I couldn't take back to Mexico with me. :\
But, still, Dalton is bee-you-tee-full! And there's lots of Mexicans there for some reason so I felt right at home. ;D

Even more interesting is that the original reciept was still in the box. A man by the name of Michael Brooks bought this game at Egghead Software in Carlsbad (the one I used to go to) on 9/2/95 for 64.02.

Today (Wednesday):

The DC stick was $10. It was pretty high but I decided to treat myself since I only have one pad, and I needed something for my fighting games. Leisure Suit Larry 5 was $1, and the NeGCon was $1.
P.S.
The "smileys count towards the total pictures per post" limitation is LAME.

And there's lots of Mexicans there for some reason so I felt right at home. ;D
You described it perfectly. That's the place, indeed.

Nice finds Kitsune Sniper! BTW, I wouldn't worry about being "spendy on that DC stick. You spent $10 on a valuable, official stick that can turn you a profit easily. I think those things tend to go for $40 and up just for used ones.

Except I don't intend to sell it. :)
You all know by now that I buy stuff to resell on eBay and on the forum, but I often keep stuff like this. If I ever find another stick then yes, it'll be sold, but I always keep DC hardware for myself. :D Except for spare lightguns. I think six is enough. :P

Oh but being an MST3000 fan myself, I know how cheesy they really are lol Especially the incredibly bad film editted tricks to show "Hey, nobody will notice that this character is missing his eyes for 5 seconds or more in this scene."
So yeah, I'm still surprised he got me something like this...and why it's still filed under "Anime" is beyond me.....

I went by the locla Goodwill and grabbed a hard plastic Game Boy carrying case that has a shoulder strap for $1. I passed up the Model 2 Genesis - Sega CD combo for $20. I always thought that it would be cool to work there and get dibs on all the stuff thate came through. Today, I saw I sign that states that in the interest of fairness, employess are not allowed to shop there. What a crock.

Last night I picked up:
PS2:
Yanya Caballista: City Skater
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel
-> $5 each, complete and nice discs.
SMS:
Monopoly (Cart + box (No manual) - $1)
Genesis:
Madden '94
Football '94
-> Each were $1 complete with inserts. The Madden game was labeled "Limited Edition", which I have no idea what that means (hence the thread I created) and I got the Football '94 thinking its case was the same dimentions as the SMS ones inside and out... I was wrong so I can't swap it out between the Monopoly game because the cartridges won't fit, along with the manuals. So, are there any Genesis boxes that'll work with SMS games as replacement cases?

I picked up a copy of MVP Baseball 2005 today for $14.88 at Wal-Mart. It's probably the last good baseball game made for the GameCube. I don't know if there will even be a baseball game made for the system in 2007...

Haha I'm sure we have all thought of that at one point or another. At the one I frequent, they can buy stuff once it's on the floor (not while you are working of course), but you can't take stuff from the backroom.
All Goodwill rules seem to be different in the stores though, as this one they let you go through the tubs before they place everything on the shelves. At another I visit, if you even so look into a bin while someone is putting it away you get scolded by the employee (and maybe even roundhouse kicked if warrented).
If you did work there I guess you could alway beep a friend to come buy it just as they are putting it out.

I did have one other purchase today. A co-worker had a PS1 package he was selling. It had an early model PS1, the kind with the built-in A/V jacks, Madded 99, Madden 2001, Castlevania Chronicles (CIB), Saga Frontier (CIB), and Final Fantasy IX (CIB). All for a total of $20. Not a bad deal.

pawn shop pickup-loose SNES secret of mana for $2. there was also a vectrex there, but the guy working the counter wasn't sure if the owners wanted to sell it or not, and so he didn't. there was also the atari game center with a colecovision and about 10 common 2600 and CV games inside that has been there forever.

I forgot to mention that when I got MVP Baseball 2005 for the GameCube, it meant I broke my goal of buying no more than 20 games this year. It's my 21st. I guess you can sue me. :D

It all varies from store to store by the employees. In some goodwills, If I ask kindly, They'll sell me stuff out of the back room wether it's been "Processed" or not (I bought a trashed NES from one for $3, Another goodwill would have thrown it away because some of the case was melted from a soldering iron and it didn't have any cords or controllers)
But in other goodwills, The people that work there are too stupid to sell stuff out of the back room if you ask because it wasn't "Processed". At one, I asked to buy a dreamcast and the last time I was there (A week later) It was still in the back room. Hey, If i'm offering to buy it just sell it to me, I'll take it back if it does not work, Why would I ask to buy it if I didn't know what it was, Especially if it is missing something? o_O
