Yea, they were replaced not too long ago by the Nintendo rep. I gave the kiosk a good cleaning and it looks pretty good.

I have some of the kiosk demo discs to make it more authentic. :)

Found Ace Combat 5 (PS2), Mickey Mousecapades (NES), and an Atari Jaguar cart for $15.00 at a pawn shop.

Found several boxed 64 games for sale at a video store for $4.95 each, but they were sans manuals and pretty beat up, so I passed. The place was a video store/tanning salon and the dumb chick behind the counter was throwing the three boxes I brought to the counter to the other dumb chick who was looking (but not looking very hard) for the manuals. Then she proceeded to kick one of the boxes! It made me cringe. :( Long story short, I passed 'em up. I've been checking out this store for years and they have an old Mario retail sign I want in a bad kind of way. But every time I ask about it the owners say they're giving it to their grandkid(s). I wish they would hurry up and quit tempting me with it!!!
Lots of luck to all my fellow hunters and Merry Christmas to everyone! :)

Update: The Jaguar cart was Flip Out (R3). I don't have a Jaguar, but I've never seen a loose cart in the wild and I couldn't pass it up for $2. :)

Today I got Donkey Kong Jungle Beat plus an extra pair of bongo controllers for $10 via ebgames. Also stopped off at goodwill and found an NES with 2 controllers (one being a snes controller haha) and all hookups for $20. It works amazingly too; I expected to do some heavy-duty pin connector cleaning and modding but I popped in my copy of metroid and it worked right away.

Snagged a factory sealed copy of Super Street Fighter II Turbo PC CD-ROM from eBay for a total of $3.50. Very big deal in my eyes considering I value my copy of street fighter alpha 2 for the saturn higher than I do a factory sealed legend of zelda SNES. The full size PC box arrived in the mail today and it is cleeeeeeaaannnn!!!

$10. It's the cheapest dreamcast I have ever seen.

I found a complete dreamcast system minus the VMU a couple weeks back at a flea market. The elderly man who sold it to me seemed excited at my offer of $5. I ended up walking away with the system and an almost new Xbox S contr. for $10. Still though, your deal was better with the 2 contr. 2 VMU's and game and all, nice!

I don't normally go to thrift stores for games, as I tend to think the ones in my area aren't really going to have anything of interest. But I went to one today because my dad was looking for a place that might take an old sewing machine and piano we have. So I decided to check out the electronics section for the heck of it. I ended up finding a box with a Magnavox Odyssey 2 with 5 complete games; Baseball!, Speedway!/Spin-Out!/Crypto-Logic!, Las Vegas BlackJack!, Alien Invaders - Plus!, and Bowling!/Basketball! (what's with all the exclamation points? lol). Anyway, I paid $6 for the lot and the boxes and manuals were in great shape too. I also picked up a video tape that promoted Banjo-Kazooie for the N64. I should check these places out more often!

Thanks to another thread pointing out the EBGames/Gamestop ad this week I was able to pick up:

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (Bongo set) with a free extra set of bongos for $9.99!!! I had been meaning to try out the game for a while since it sounded interesting but I didn't want to spend a whole bunch of money on it. (Considering I already have Donkey Konga, Donkey Konga 2 and two bongo controllers.)

I also got MCGroovz Dance Craze for the Gamecube used for $14.99. Not the best out there and Mario DDR blows it away. Still I only paid $14.99 for it. I'm thinking maybe it'll grow on me. Easy mode is insanely hard on a couple songs though.

Got a 5200 with working controller at Game Traders at Flea World for $35, along w/ Realsports Tennis, Pac Man and Vanguard. I've had a stack of 5200 games for years, but could never play them. And I never wanted to to pay eBay prices, but yesterday everything came into place. I'm loving the system so far.

Game Traders had a TON of Sega CD games yesterday. I was pretty good at resisting temptation, but I picked up NBA Jam (sealed) for $1.99 and NHL '94 (CIB) for $0.99. If I didn't already have Sega CD on the Sonic Gems compo I would have picked it up - they had three copies for $10 each (CIB).

A couple days ago at TRU I got Metroid Pinball (DS) and Tomb Raider: Legends (xbox, w/ "collectible" cardboard sleeve and Lara Croft sticker) for $9.98 each.

All the stuff I've picked up from the past two weeks:

http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/2383/im000453ew9.jpg

The Christmas presents were Kirby Squeak Squad, Yoshi's Island DS, and the Devil May Cry 5th Anniversary pack.

Sega Genesis Collection and Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin were both picked up at Circuit City on Christmas Eve, for $9.99 and $19.99 respectively.

Clockwork Knight ($5.99), Galactic Attack ($3.99), Dark Legend ($3.99), and Spanky's Quest ($5.99) were all picked up at an independent game store.

I'm doing it again, collecting games for systems I don't even own yet. Luckily, unlike SMS systems, Saturns are easy to come by around here

Casanova Pinball machine (1966)- $40

I was in the Salvation Army at the very end of a sale Friday night. They were selling everything in the store to bring new stuff in the next day. They had this pinball machine in the corner with a sign on it saying $100. So I went and asked if it had sold yet and she said make an offer. I said I dunno $80? She said ok and half off of 80 is 40. So $40 bucks. I got it home and it needs some work but its complete. Definitely my best find.

NES games - $5
Japanese Silver Gamecube Gameboy player - $24

Interesting fact: The Japanese GBP will work with an American disc.

The GBP is up for sale or trade.

Good deal. I've only seen the box for a dreamcast once, In the back room of a goodwill. I offered to buy it and the system but they didn't go for it. "It isn't processed"

Well, Whatever that means. If it means "No way" Then keep it, I'll find another one.

Only one video game find for me this month, but it's a big one.

A working 19" Neo Geo MVS cabinet with Fatal Fury, everything works.
It's only a 1 slot board, but the price was right, so my first arcade cabinet.

$128.51

I'll try to post pictures later.

Replied to an email notice from the Freecycle network and came away with 29 PS2 cases and most of the manuals were included as well. As an extra bonus one of the cases had the disc for NBA Live 2005 in it. Freebies good.

After getting the cases I stopped at a pawn shop and found these Dreamcast games all complete for $5 each:

D2
Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm
Evolution 1
Evolution 2
Grandia 2
Skies of Arcadia
Sword of the Berzerk
Time Stalkers

At the same pawn also picked up Toughman Contest on the Genesis for 99 cents.
