The sides fold in where the red/black parts end and the top and bottom areas fold where the white lines begin. It really is a pain (and was my third attempt at designing this section). Keep in mind, that the end result should be almost cube shaped.

First post! Hello, Digital Press forums.

pacman, just calm down. AtomicThumbs will post more designs when he's ready to. In fact, he told me in a PM about two designs he's working on currently, and I'm excited about them. He was actually putting together my favorite arcade game before I requested it. :D

As for your question about bus models, I suggesting heading over to the Papercraft & Origami section of the image board website 4chan (http://www.4chan.org). They'll be able to help you out better than here, and you'll also find a ton of great models to work on and play around with. In fact, I found out about the paper arcade models from over there.

Speaking of 4chan, I recently posted a rapidshare zip file with every paper arcade model I've been able to find on the 'net. The post is here (http://cgi.4chan.org/po/res/22758.html), and the rapidshare link is here (http://rapidshare.de/files/32115666/Paper_Arcade.zip.html).

Here's the thing... I have about 10 new ones that I've designed over the last month or so (including the one we spoke of). The problem is that I am out of ink and will be getting some this next week. I really don't want to post the patterns until I'm sure they work (there are a few complicated ones). It will DEFINATELY be worth the wait.

TheTrench: I've seen Street Fighter II and SFII:CE, but no SSFII yet. They were posted earlier in this thread, but I'm not sure if the links still work. After atomic posts his new cabs, I'll update and upload my collection again.

Just an update that I'm still here and will post some soon. Been pretty busy lately preparing for a move. It'll be worth the wait.

I did make a non arcade papercraft for my dad though (used his printer as well). It's a 1949 Admiral Television (he restores old tvs).

Looks like I'm extremely late to the party...

Somehow, despite being an Internet dweller since 2001, I missed the paper arcade fad completely. Most of the links in this thread no longer work, sadly, though there's quite the collection online (like the site which apparently started it [http://www.wayoftherodent.com/pa/pa_staff.htm], and a collection here [http://delicious.com/redirect?url=http%3A//www.flickr.com/photos/84669354%40N00/sets/72157622816417859/] and the biggest one by far here [http://www.flickr.com/photos/46792053@N03/sets/72157623146178671/]). Still, I'd love to make a Discs of Tron papercraft cabinet, or some of the cocktail tables. Would anybody be so kind as to point me where I need to go?

I've recently gotten into papercrafting in the last couple of years and am looking for more arcade machine templates. I've been trying to find Atomicthumbs and Rugalsizzler's templates but haven't had any luck. If anyone has these templates could you please share them with me or tell me where I can find them? I'm also trying to find the templates for some Japanese srcade papercrafts I've seen online including the ones published in the September 2004 issues of Dorimaga magazine, which had papercraft models of several Sega arcade machines (Hang-on, Space Harrier, Outrun, and Thunder Blade) to celebrate Sega gaming history. These have proven very hard to find so I would appreciate any help I can get and I know others would, too. I'm currently working on a few templates of my own and I hope to post them on DeviantArt before too long. I'll post a message here when I do, so they can be shared with others.
