I got to the booth and a six year old kid had the games. I said "Aw daaaaaamn, you beat me to the games!" And he replied with this:

"Oh I don't want them, I'm looking for some Gamecube games."

I almost kicked his ass right there. ._. Oh well, I can sell the empty case on eBay, I already have the game. :P

The only new game on the photo was the Thunder Storm LX-3 (Cobra Command) and the Road Blaster (Road Avenger) Laserdisc pack for the PSX. It's complete with the spine card. Total was $28 shipped.

The honey bee converter and the Famicom game was bought from Kitsune Sniper. Pretty fast shipping too.

A thrift store opened up recently, and they had a Saturn stick in there. 2 bucks and it didn't work. All it needed was a good cleaning, getting all the crap out from between the buttons. Oh, and when I bought it, it reeked of beer. -_-;

I got Killer 7 and Fire emblem for $3 each at a pawn shop. They still have the new plastic smell on them.

What exactly are they for? I looked in the Rarity Guide and didn't see any information. I thought for awhile they were some SNES bootlegs or something but then there's no marking for it. Are they some MVS carts? I have no clue what ST-V is.

The ST-V is for the Sega Titan Video arcade system.

The arcade system is just a Saturn but uses cartridges to stwich the games out (concept made popular with the Neo-Geo MVS). It wasn't popular in Japan but Radiant Silvergun was a ST-V game.

got an original playstation, a ps one (smaller original playstation) and final fantasy anthology for £5.50 at a car boot sale. also got 3 n64 controllers, a nes controller, 2 snes controllers, a snes and all hookups with 8 games (pretty much sports crap) for £15, got 17unboxed and 10 boxed playstation games for £4. god bless car boot sales.

Long time reader of "finds" threads, first time poster. I grabbed this at the Salvation Army near my house for C$5 the other day. It's complete and basically the best quality you can get with a used game. It had a little comic and everything!

It's not the rarest game, and it's probably not the best price, but I'm just happy to find just about ANY Turbografx 16 game in the wild. I essentially never see them, and when I do, it's never complete like this.

I'm pretty happy about this find too because recently I found a Turbografx 16 for C$14 at a different Salvation Army, but it had no game to test it with so I had no idea if it worked or not. Finally I'll get to test it out. Hopefully it works.

The CompUSA in Niles is closing and they marked everything in the store 40% off. The had one last copy of Genji on PS3--for only $38 with tax. I went over to my local EB and explained that "I got Genji for my birthday last weekend and don't have a receipt." BTW, it was actually my birthday last weekend. They swapped it for Motorstorm no questions asked.

Finally took the plunge and bought the PS3 this weekend. Target has a good deal going if any of you all are interested. You can sign up for a Target Visa and get 10% off the day you sign up on anything you buy. I bought the PS3 and Resistance on the card and then went up front to pay it off at customer service. Saved me about 70 bucks. The only downside is that I had a $75 Target gift card which they wouldn't let me use to pay on my newly created line of credit. I asked why and was told rather curtly, "It's Target policy." Makes no sense to me; a gift card with their name on it should be as good as cash to them. Guess I'll just go back later and pick up Motorstorm. Hope everyone has a great week and good luck hunting!

All I got today? A few CDs for the collection, a sealed Windows 98 (in original box), and a medical dictionary for my reference desk. I saw part of a Final Fantasy VII (PC) for sale but the whole box where the stuff was in was taken away from me as I was wandering around. "Sorry, this is taken!"

I had a premonition to stop at a local thrift, and was surprised to find an Atari 2600, 4-switch woody, in excellent condition. It had 10 games, 2 joysticks, and 1 pair of paddles, kept inside a smoke-colored hard plastic case. Very nice looking, until I saw the price stuck to it.....$125.00!!
I asked the nice lady working there if this was the correct price, to which she simply replied "yes". I thanked her, bit my lip, and walked out the door, holding in my laughter. $125 for a VCS, 10 games(all commons,carts only), and 3 controllers. Hard to believe, but I wondered if some local is actually going to buy it.

Just got one game yesterday that I had been anticipating for a while now..

Burnout Dominator (PS2)- $39.99 new

So far, I am loving this game! It's just like the other Burnout games, except that this one focuses more on the racing. The absence of crash mode doesn't bother me, as there are other modes that were added that are quite fun, like Maniac mode.

I have one of these that I got at Best Buy a couple years ago. It was indeed a pack-in with the platinum system. It's both games in one case, with both instruction manuals.
