By fruitilicious I mean running on an Apple of course..
Mac Mini, Core Duo 1.66 with 1GB RAM.
It runs awesome now! The official Universal Binary works so much better than those custom builds I had to google for with the previous version. The dynamic core has been improved, games run extremely fast now with no stuttering sound.
They even included a auto-cycle detection feature which seems to work well so you don't have to fiddle with the cycles setting for each game (I haven't tested this feature extensively).
One issue I did notice. When using the OpenGL renderer in full-screen, the picture is not centered on the screen, it is settled in the bottom left corner. It is pretty odd.
When General Midi, MT-32 or Waveblaster sound settings are used in the game, the MPU401 passes to the OS X software midi and sounds totally awesome. Bloodnet sounds ALMOST as good as my Roland Sound Canvas (SC-55).
I'm going to test Under A Killing Moon when I get home. Freakin LOVE that game!
Anyone else playing around with the new DOSBox? Mac or otherwise?
