Does anyone know if there is one yet? I saw the pinball stuff on the website for the Expo, but so far, I've only seen the 2005 list on there.

EDIT BY GAC: The initial list is now up, check it out here: http://www.cgexpo.com/booths.htm

Nope. Nothing yet. However, we are still nearly four months away. I don't think the *real* announcements will begin for another 30 days....

Care to have a world famous (bahaha) romhacker (ahahahaha) as an exhibitor?

Thought not. :P

Sweet! Are you going to have more obscure jpn systems from the 80's again? Will you accept requests?

I didn't go to Japan this year so I don't have too much stuff. Tanaka & Yusaku can be reached via their website www.suteki.me.uk Billy is there right now and can help them with English if you email soon. I think he'll be there until May 8th or 9th. Put CGE or Digital Press in the email title and they should respond. They're in the process of opening a new store in the space above their existing one so they might be very busy. See you in July!

I am under the impression that Atariage wont be at the CGE 07
or am I wrong?

I asked Albert, and he said he wasnt planning to go....
is it just him or Atariage too?

I asked Albert, and he said he wasnt planning to go.... And there you have your answer.

is it just him or Atariage too?If you're asking if AA will be there as a vendor, ask Albert (which you did). If you're asking if AA members will be there, post at AA and ask the members. Or am I not understanding your question?

I meant Atariage as a vendor
major disappointing news for me
that he wont be at the CGExpo07

Here's an ongoing thread at AA that asks if AA will ever again attend CGE. You can post there and ask. I kind of doubt Al will see your question here at DP.

Why is it majorly disappointing? Dozens of other vendors will be there, and they'll be bringing along thousands upon thousands of Atari items to sell. Pretty much anything that ever had to do with Atari will be available for sale at the show. :)

If homebrews are your thing, make sure you check out Packrat Videogames! They specialize in all kinds of homebrews. They have registered a booth at CGE2K7, and always have brought tons of Atari homebrews with them in the past!

EDIT: Here is a pic of a booth from 2005, with tons of Atari Homebrew goodness:

On the 4Jays website they've got a banner up, I don't know if they've officially made the statement of having a booth but looks like they'll be there. Saw the CGExpo site, doesn't look like they have, but I wouldn't be surprised if they make a stop this year.

Are you the one that had a Sony CDi (with one of the Zeldas) running on display at 2K5?

The only thing I can't find on the CGE website are the hours that the exhibit hall is open. Anyone know yet?

usally the show opens around 9am and closes at 4pm the first day(auction is usally held around 4pm Ithink)
and second day is usally 10am to 5pm.
Ithink joe might know if I'm right or not.

I'm 90% certain we'll do the same as past years.

Saturday show: 9am-6pm
Saturday auction: 7pm-9pm
Sunday show: 10am-5pm

The hour between the show end and the auction start on Saturday is the time Sean and I spend screening auction items. If you've witnessed this, it's an event unto itself. In 2k5 I had to convince a guy that his toy Hess truck collection was not a candidate for the CGE auction. I really need to write a book someday.
