I have a few NES toasters I am getting from ebay (three of them) that I won in a lot for $25. None have power supplies however. Can a SNES power supply work? What are the power supply specs for the NES? Can I just pick up a universal if not?

Do NOT try your SNES PS. Here is some power supply info but looking at it now, I'm not sure about the NES "alternatives" info. All of those other adapters are DC and the NES is AC.

That's weird because the PAL NES and SNES both have identical power requirements (AC 9V 1.3A), and their AC adapters are identical (and interchangeable)
Why would they make US SNES have a different power requirement?
