    Default The Firemen SNES?

OK this has been bugging me for a while now, I went to a video store that was closing down and selling all rentals games and such.

After looking through all the 100's of SNES, PS1 and 64 games I found this one which I had not heard of or seen before:

The only information I found on it was a small Wiki page on the JAP version. It seems it was a Jap/Eur only release. It was not even on Gamespot untill I got it added.

So any ideas how rare/how much it's worth?

Sorry if this is in the wrong area, there are so many different forums

You should be playing this game and not selling it; it's absolutely brilliant.

Yeah it's pretty awesome. I doubt I wouldn sell it but I just am interested about how rare it might be, about the company or any information about the game

I don't think it's that rare in Europe, where the game was released in English.

The company who made it, Human Entertainment, has made a lot of stuff, but most of it never came state-side. The games they've made you'd most likely recognize from them are Fire Pro Wrestling and Clock Tower 1 and 2.

The Firemen is a great game. You play in a top-down view kinda like Zombies Ate My Neighbors, except you're in a burning building, your weapon is a firehose, and all the enemies are forms of fire. The only downside to the game is that it's too short, but it is very fun.

Cheers, I really like the style of the game, pitty it is so short, but the difficulty of the later part of the game makes up for it I guess
Zombies (just Zombies here) is another great game

I've played this game a bit and I found the difficulty pretty high right from the start.

I dunno how rare the PAL version is, but word is, it's pretty scarce. As for it's worth? Probably a good $15-$20 at least, based purely on its scarcity and gameworth (i.e. it's a pretty dang good game).

You can read my thoughts on the JP version here: THE FIREMEN

I read about it in EGM in 1994 and have been curious ever since. 12 years later I finally got to play it. Solid solid game. As for the difficulty, it's really easy once you play it 4-5 times. True, it's a pity the game is so short. An option for random generation of fire location wouldn't be shabby either.
