    Default Best 16-Bit Spider-man & Venom game?

Ok, as I understand it, there are a total of four 16-bit Spider-Man and Venom games. There are two versions of Spider-Man & Venom: Maximum Carnage, and there are also two versions of Spider-Man & Venom: Seperation Anxiety. For the Genesis and Super Nintendo respectively. I haven't played any of these games, but I'm trying to find out which game is superior, and which system has the better version of the superior game. My son is really into Venom right now.

i never played teh snes versions, but the genesis ones are top notch. beautiful colors and fast gameplay. both games in general are amazing. you should know though that you dont get to play as venom in maximum carnage. (as far as i remember)

Maximum Carnage was probably the best at the time I never played the other game at all I think. The thing I dislike about Maximum Carnage was the way you morphed to the next stage by that wizard guy and lady with the big cape.

I played it on the Genesis or more watched it being played. My cousin owned that stuff alot. I was more of a Mario person at the time with Mario this and that.

I believe there is another Spider-Man game before the Carnage game on Genesis where you fight Kingpin ( if you can find him ) in the end and you have to save the other girl ( Who eventually becomes the Black cat ) who is not Marie Jane and Peter was chasing after her earlier in the series.

Personally I like the cover art more then the games at all since you randomly fought your foes all over the place. Like Sandman in the Sandbox

I greatly preferred Maximum Carnage to Separation Anxiety. The one positive about S.A. is that it has a two player mode (Maximum Carnage is single player only), but I found its levels and overall quality to be significantly poorer.

Maximum Carnage is really nice on Genesis with 6-button control. It has a nice set of moves, and it's rather difficult, but without being cheap.
