    Default Wii Mortal Kombat

Anyone pick this up yet... I know it has Khameleon as an extra "exclusive" character, I was wondering how this plays with the wii-mote.
To be this good takes AGES

To be this great takes SEGA!!

I picked it up on Monday (Best Buy had it out early). It's very playable with the setup - more so than I figured it would be. The D pad on the Wiimote acts as the punch/kick/etc and the nunchuck moves the character around. The B button + movement is the special moves (say Scorpion's spear). If you want, it'll use the GC controller or classic controller.

sounds like it doesn't, don't complain.

i really hope developers are starting to look at the wii like the DS; use the unique controlls when they make sense, don't when they're not needed.

Aren't the motion controls used for the special moves/fatalities? Like for Scorpion's spear, you move the controller back then forward. That's what the ads and all the previews I've seen make it look like.

yeah but all of the ads and even the case for ultimate alliance make it seem like you act like the character but you really dont!

I can't believe a gaming message board is so mis-informed and, apparently, illiterate. icbrkr explained how motion is used, and that's been the big 'thing' behind this game coming out on the Wii in the first place.
