Very nice label and an excellent demo video!!!!, i hope the game will be great...and cheap
I guess the minds behind "Doom 2600" thought they'd have another go at it
Time will be when the broadest river dries
And the great cities wane and last descend
Into the dust, for all things have an end
That is a good prank. Well executed too.
I am in fact the guy that made the Raisins prototype worth thousands less by dumping it. "D'oh!!"
My only complaint is that that title screen looks way too advanced for the 2600, in my book.
There's a big thread over at Atari Age about high-res pictures on the 2600...in short, that Duke Nukem pic is doable...

There are more of these scattered throughout the various forums, but I just had a massive dizzy spell, and am not feeling good enough to find more examples...bed time Check out the Duke Nukem thread in the Atari 2600 forum to see more about this particular hoax

This is one of those times that it feels good to be wrong.
It's not just doable, but more to the point, it's done. Andrew Davie (author of Qb) has been working on this groovy way of displaying bitmaps. So that cart is all real, though still not what it appears...Originally Posted by scooterb23
