    Default Rock da Casbah!

Got back from the heatpit that was Vegas... and I definitely had a good time. Will be considering next year for sure

Props to all the people I met including Joe, Jaime, Larry, Nathan, Dave, Tim, Andy, Ward and everyone else I probably overlooked...

Hopefully some others will write more here later heh...

It was good meeting you too Mat! Hope your flight back was as smooth as mine was not. (I felt like I was in a martini shaker for an hour. I've still got the "Terror Sweats.")

I second what Mayhem's said. Good seeing everyone from the boards. Next year, we send out little "I'm THIS GUY" name tags. If it wasn't for POG wearing her DP shirt at McD's, I don't think ANY of us would've met!

And, next year, let's put together our own DP-sponsored room party. It was nice that AtariAge let us crash into theirs, but let's thin out the room partys with one of our own next time.

Good seeing everyone. Gotta go sleep off a few more hours of jet lag now.

Asylum, it slipped my mind that you were wanting those. However, there's another chance coming up soon. Good Deal Games is selling them and they'll be at CinciClassic - about a 75 mile drive from me. I attend it every year. I'll be happy to pick them up and ship them to you if you make the arrangements. Here's the announcement from the convention's web page:

    http://ic.net/~craig/cinci/

and here's the GDG website with these games. You should be able to order directly from them without needing someone else to make arrangements for them. Mike's a good guy.

Actually I don't ever recall seeing them on sale... maybe I just missed the time they were out...

They were on sale in a booth against the very back wall - right next to where the high score competitions were being held. I don't believe - however - that they were signed. If you contact either GDG or OlderGames (the manufacturer), they may be able to let you know if there are any signed copies left.

I'll second what Nate said about the drive... although my drive was like 1/3rd as long as his.

Hopefully we didn't fry too many brain cells in the heat going through the Mohave Desert :P
