Just a suggestion but you may want to play the new nights game at a demo station or friends house and wait for a few reviews before slapping down $250.00 on a wii for one game.

It looks very sweet and very much like the Saturn game...

But I swear, if I hear one more snarky comment whining about no bump-mapping, I'm gonna scream.

    "But there's no bump-mapping!"
    "And what exactly is bump-mapping?"
    "It makes textures more... textury."

I'm never even going to bother playing it. There's no bump mapping!

Seriously, though, I have misgivings about it. Of course, I'm just worried it won't live up to its potential, and the NiGHTS name will go out with a whimper. That, and I've never been sold on motion sensing in games (and yes, I have played a Wii).

I've had this on pre-order since they first announced it.

I've said it over and over, I'll buy whatever system this game comes out for. Since I never thought it would actually see the light of day, I'm a little surprised that it's actually coming... and now I'm going to have to buy myself a Wii system.

(BTW, ONLY game I've ever said something like this about)

The inclusion of 3d platformer stages assures me it's a sega game-they seem to enjoy throwing in shit no one wants to play in their games.

Maybe they'll be good, maybe they'll be this game's Big the Cat stages. Either way, if I'm playing a Nights game, I want to be flying around as Nights, dammit!

Dunno, but from what i've seen from the trailers this looks like possibly the best Sega sequel or erm game in a long time.

Sega definetely has ground to make up, not only have they fallen off the ball over the last few years, but the ball has ran them over and squished them numerous times.

Here's hoping this game will get them back on track. *cheers*

Nights Now THATS a real Sega game!

I luved Nights on the Sega Saturn and it probably my favorite 32/64-bit era video game.

Im actually impressed by the trailers so far and only graphic whores and only punk ass spoiled rich kids hate on the Wii for bitching about graphical effects that they dont even understand or know what the hell they mean.

The Wiis graphics are just fine but then again this is comes from a gamer that is still perfectly content with "last gens" graphics from PS2 to Xbox 1.

Anyway this new Wii game could be Segas best in MANY MANY years if done right.

I would pick up a Wii just to play this single game and thats no BS.

I've watched a trailer for it now (before, I'd only read about/seen screenshots of it), and I'm slightly less worried about it. I'm still not sure just how well it will make the transition to motion sensing (I admit I'm one who thinks joysticks are inherently better for controls, but I digress).

Hopefully, this will be a great game that convinces me to get a Wii. I'd much prefer that scenario to the Sonic team ruining NiGHTS like they did Sonic.
