Diddy Kong Racing Jawbreakers tin?

I already won this and it camei n the mail, but for $6 shipped I fiugred what the hell I would buy it. I have never seen one of these before and I imagine it was sold in places like toys r us or kay bee toys or something shortly after the game came out. Its officialy liscenced. I dont think its worth all too much but I havent seen any of these on ebay before and being a big ddiy kong racing fan this is a pretty cool collectible.

It has a couple of tears in the plastic as well as rusting along some edges of the tin and inside the plastic theres some like moisture specs (kinda disgusting) that werent mentioned in the listing, so I am debating taking the wrapping off but then it will lose its nintendo seal as well as nutrition facts label so I am not sure to leave it on or take it off, maybe taking it off I will be able to clean it before any worse rusting takes place.

I believe Wal-Mart had these up the ass a few Christmases ago, around 2001 or so. I have one that's Super Mario and my brother had the Diddy Kong Racing one you have pictured.
