Default Question about the Atari 2600...

My first 2600 was bought at a flea market about 6 months ago, and a few weeks ago, I was at a garage sale and bought a second one since it came with a big case full of games, and I needed another set of paddles (Warlords).

The second one works fine, but I noticed that the switches feel kind of cheap and crappy. They're really easy to slide and they don't really have a noticeable click to indicate that they switched from off to on.

My question is, were there a couple different versions of the 2600 with parts of better or worse quality? The only different version I know of is the 6 switch one, but they both are 4 switches.

    Any help appreciated!

The switches will eventually wear out. I know the power switch on my original light sixer did from trying to fry games.
