We started talking about this in the bender, and I thought it might make a good topic. Anyone have any suggestions? I have a trip for work tomorrow, and could do with something entertaining to pass the time.

I find Go Nintendo endlessly entertaining. I listen to them and laugh, and pretend I have real friends. It's quite comforting.
Then the drinking starts.
1up Yours is a decent podcast. Although, it's become increasingly less entertaining since Luke Smith left the cast.
...is actually pretty good... 1UP Yours, EGM Live, and especially GFW Radio are consistently interesting and hysterical. The best for casual listening is, of course, the Retronauts podcast. Taken as a whole, its almost a gaming history lesson.
Another game related podcast worth checking out is the Hardcore Gaming 101 podcast. You can find the website here:

G-Boobie, out.
I have a strong revulsion towards the name podcast. It just really bums me out -- so I don't download any as a consequence.
How psycho is that?
http://www.evilavatarradio.com - since I did the intro music. It's also a good community, great hosts, and an entertaining show.

These aren't technically podcasts (no automatic downloads), but I listen to every new show. Shane's great, and the shows are informative and entertaining. I especially like the hardware flashbacks in RGR.
A friend turned me on to Game Theory, and I've found it pretty good. Not sure I'll be listening on a regular basis, but it was a decent, intelligent show.
I listen to 1up Yours on and off. It got better after Luke left, imho, but they still complain too much. It can be pretty entertaining, though. The 1Up boards are horrible, and having a good community associated with a show keeps me interested.
1Up's Retronauts is terrible. They have no clue what they're talking about, they do no preparation, and it's a waste of time. I really wanted to like it, but after their horrible Master System and c64 shows (which they didn't bother having anyone on who actually HAD one back in the day, nor did they talk about the great GAMES for those systems) I unsubscribed. Listen to RGR instead.

Retro Gaming Radio has been around far longer than podcasts, possibly longer than there have been MP3 players on the market. Since 'Kidhype' Smith passed away, the shows aren't as good as they once were, but it's still worth a listen. Great for long trips, since most of them run around three hours long.

Here's some interesting listening for a long drive. The Fairchild, Intellivision, Imagic, and Activision ones are really good.
Some of my other favorite non-gaming podcasts are Mac Break Weekly, Manic Mondays (comedy music plus 'News of the Stupid'), and SModcast done by writer/director Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier *Bad language warning*.
