Default 360 fan + AV outs any one use?

i was wondering if any one uses one of these?

i am looking for something similar, dont necessarily need a fan but i want the ability to use standard cables and not have to deal with cumbersome huge A/V connectors like the 360 has.

why the heck did they need such a big ol connector?

I'd like to know if this is any good as well, the fact that it has VGA makes it very interesting to me. Plus it's USB powered so none of that intercooler madness. I'm considering getting one when I get a 360.

i have it. I LOVE IT!!!

its a bit pricey at 30 bucks, since you can get component to vga converters for that on ebay thatll work for any consoles, but still

the fans are quiet as hell and still i feel the hot air get circulated out. i use it to connect it to my 21" lcd. the 360 automatically detects a monitor and lets you select resolutions up to i believe 1280xwhatever. (i can double check later if pple are really interested, i just dont feel like switching it on now). the quality is amazing. true HD. looks fantastic^2 on my HP2035.

    EDIT

its connected through vga running at 1280x1024 but theres an option for 1920x1080 if i had widescreen. there are about 6 or 7 other resolution options. 1920 is the largest. but theres something in between 1280 and 1920. i believe its also widescreen.
i highly recommend this product if the price is ok.

i connected the sound via L/R to my stereo and it also has extra usb ports if you dont wanna soil the front of your box. its really nice playing this at my table with the racing wheel.

Just a heads up, this will not work on the 'elite' model, because of the hdmi port. It sucks because it is cheaper than a vga cable, but I didn't need the fan so I just paid for the official vga cable (now I can finally read that damned dead rising font!).

This was my product from when I worked at Pelican. It's also available in Europe as the "King Cooler" for a much higher cost. Oh, and there is an "Elite" version in the works.

SOme of those reviews on EB are funny. One guy complains it comes with a crappy VGA cord, when in fact it's only Component Cables that come with it....oh boy
