Default Odd Tom and Jerry SNES cart.

I recently was looking through my SNES carts and realized my Tom and Jerry one is like one I've never seen before.

Label seems that it's "too short" for the cart.

No standard label on the back, just pure writing.

Small circular indention into the cart.

Can someone please tell me what this cart is, promo or what? I've never seen a cart like this. I never thought about it 'till now, and since I was a kid I never cared, I just popped it in and played!

Are you new to collecting the SNES? Many of the carts have that circular (manufacturing breakpoint?) on the back of the carts. And, I am sure you will come across many a label abnormality. Nope, no super rare promo protos yet You will know when you get one tho...trust me on that one.

Well, I don't collect for the SNES (just play what I like). Might be the manufacture like the above poster said, now that I think about it. I don't own a ton of SNES games anymore. Only about 12, I sold a good chunk of mine awhile back.

Yep, it's a Majesco rerelease. You can find more info on those in this thread.

Btw, there is a version of Tom & Jerry with a back label - Frogger is the only SNES game that wasn't available in a non-Majesco cart, as it was the only new release published by Majesco.

Yup. Others off the top of my head (only a small sample) include Super Godzilla and yes, Mega Man X.
