Default Game Over Video Games (TX)

I just recently went to visit family around Austin, TX and saw a commercial for a place called Game Over Video Games..They had commentary on the commercial that explained they had a "buy, sell, and trade" system for nothing by classic games..now I dont know if this would be the right board to ask, but has anybody dealt with this place? I want to know if I should stop by there next time I am in Austin.

It has been awhile since I've been to that store. It has mostly classic stuff with some new stuff thrown in. Last purchase I made there was the Sega CD version of "The Secret of Monkey Island". If the store is still there it is a good place to check out.

Do you remember how the prices are? I go to Austin about once a year to visit family, so I want to know if it is worth the time to check it out.

They're alright...but tend to price things a little on the high side.

I was there last New Year's Day and found a dozen things I needed at decent prizes. It's very easy from a collector's standpoint to shop because all the games are sorted alphabetically by system. Definitely worth a look. It's also not far from the Goodwill Computerworks store/museum IIRC.

The store is still there, it is literally about a half-mile from my house. It's alright, nothing special.

I'm in Texas, about 6 hours or so from Austin..I wouldn't mind checking this place out though.
